Ice Hockey 3-4 times a week. Cycle on the weekends and to my job. Easy as 3.14:)



i alwasy wanted to skate on ice. Is it hard?


As long as you have good balance, it shouldn't be a problem. Hand and eye coordination helps if you want to play hockey or skate. Just make sure you learn how to stop and never try to ice skate uphill


start out at a public session and rent the skates if you have an ice rink around your parts, see if they have lessons whether its hockey or skating before you go out and spend $$$. :smile:

We going to visit my sister in lawthis week in va and their is a rink near them so we gonna go try lol. if i bust on my butt i dont care! i just wanna do it!

why should it be there?

No yoga or water cardio until the spring semester starts so walking the dogs & across campus more daily!!! I miss it though ohwell May try a cycle class with a friend tomorrow!

Have plans to take ponies out during the holiday break and get in some long rides! Wish my mare would hurry up & heal, I so miss her out on the trail! The gelding is a fun horse, but I have so much more trust with her since I did all the training.

Oh they keep me sane Bella! She had an injury years ago that is causing the lower bones in her hock to fuse so until it is done healing she is pitifully lame, but vets say once it is finished she should return 100%! they actually told me to keep riding her & it will heal faster but she can't go for long rides so I just hop on her bareback every now & then and ride around the yard! Spent 2 years training for competitive trail and pulled her from her first competition & found this out!

I do love the gelding & he is a decent trail mount, but right now I don't have the time to train him the way I'd like him to ride.
He will get some better training when I graduate though. Learning to train horses really built up my self confidence and helped teach me to control my emotions better & I wouldn't trade them for anything!!!

I couldn't ask for better dogs than the 2 I have now either! The last 2 were good in their own rights, but the ex hubby's parents taught them to fight each other so I was always on guard about that! These 2 go togehter like peas & carrots though, plus I have kept them away from evil humans!!!

missin' my water cardio/yoga routine! Been slacking a bit on exercise, but still walking daily. Did 3 miles on Sunday with the dogs and 1 mile was power-walk/jog/sprint intervals for cardio :) Did 2 today that was fairly intense including jogging/walking the pasture, walking the sandbar @ the river and then jogging/hiking up some trails in the woods & back across the pasture-only 1/2 an hour, but we were moving out for all of it! Lots of driving tomorrow, but the ex is moving 200 miles away & my stress level drops steeply once I drop him off-YAY!

That's a great program that your running. Keep me posted on how you get it going.. I'm thinking maybe we could work out together.

I workout 4-5 times per week.
I do it for my health and to remove stress.
I need to add more cardio, especially after the holidays.

Not into the whole "gotta be cut" fitness but I am quite athletically built.

I jog two miles with my dog and walk two miles everyday. Sometimes I will walk an additional two miles. I do it for my health and also for my energetic border collie.

yeah me too! Saving all the sweets Gramma baked me for New Year's since I'll have plenty of help eating them :) Gonna do a minimum of 3 miles/day with the dogs this week too! The water classes will start back up in a few weeks, but when I'll get a new tattoo around then & will have to wait an extra 2 weeks to start :(

I know exactly what you mean. My fridge is crammed with fruit salad, assorted cakes and other home made desserts from friends and family. laugh
