I loved Super 8.

I had to watch it in 2 halves because I'm not that much of a masochist laugh

One of the best zombie films I've seen in years. The zombies felt like they were out of a 70's/80's European zombie flick. No fast sprinters either.
In my opinion, a far superior "zombie-road movie" to Zombieland.

Ok. I've been gone a while & I've been watching a lot of films, so I'll try to remember everything I've watched in the last couple weeks.

Don't Be Afraid of the Dark - Not bad. Better than expected.

Die Hard (all 4 films) - rewatched my favorite action series

Jack Ketchum's The Girl Next Door - unsettling

Natural Born Killers - rewatched another old favorite (on blu ray)

Billy Madison - favorite Sandler film

Big Daddy - saw it in the theater, hated it, so I thought I'd give it another try. Still hated it. Haha.

Mr. Deeds - Same as Big Daddy

Gangs of New York - Probably the best performance I have seen from an actor. Ever. Daniel Day-Lewis playing William Cutting. Just too good.

Nightmare on Elm Street 1-8 - I was in a mood

Paradise Lost 1 & 2 - Getting myself psyched for the third one

Bull Durham - favorite baseball film

American Pie Band Camp & Beta House - comic relief

& a bunch of "Classic Album" series on Netflix.

I also had a free credit for a movie on VUDU from my new blu-ray player. Tried to watch the Comic-Con documentary. Damn VUDU just teased me. I got through the first 5 minutes, got psyched because I knew I was gonna enjoy the hell out of it, and....then the buffering started. Couldn't watch it due to "network error", which is rather odd considering I picked the lowest possible grade to watch (SD) & I have pretty fast internet. I was extremely annoyed & disappointed.

Oh yeah, I know I stated in another post that I hate Will Ferrel films but, I really enjoyed "Everything Must Go".

He should continue doing more serious roles.
