Depends on where you live. I live in close proximity to 3 states (within 1-2 hours) So it isn't a big problem for me. How ever, i would date someone that lives 6 states away. Makes it way to hard to spend time together. On the other side it works for some. How willing are you/her/him to relocate. If it gets serious, someones gonna have to move.

Depends on the two people, I have a family member that not only out of state but out of the country. They been married 3 yrs now and living in Canada.

I travel for a living, and I have had many more dates than the average online dater...So in my experience is that it works for me because they understand I can only be around once every few weeks. I would say that it's not for the weak at heart, or those who are easily lonely. I do feel as I am just a "Booty Call" sometimes too...
