It depends on how scary the mugger is who is chasing me.

But there comes a point where I just have to turn and shoot.

1.5 miles, because I run once a year, for my AF PT test... I have proven the idea that you don't have to run, to train to run...

11:28, 1.5 mile in February. Going for 10:29 next February...

Stamina training. I use P90X. I actually had to take my test twice this year because I missed it by one pushup in January. Got 12:27 on my mile and a half in January, 32 pushups in a minute, 54 crunches in a minute and a 33.5 inch waist.

February I got 11:28, 47 pushups, 57 crunches(maxed out for my age-group), and 33 inch waist.

Most people have trouble with the run because they don't know how to pace themselves and lack the stamina to keep their heartrate up for more than a few minutes.

Haven't actively ran since December 2009, and I got a 13:16 then.

Mind you, I am 5'8 and about 180lbs. I got a lot of weight to get around a track 6 times... lol

I used to be able to run a few miles without stopping, but now I don't know. It's been awhile.

last year, Shiki took part in that event where we ran across country (from LA to NY). So, my longest run was 3,000 miles. During one such day, I ran 42.3 miles.

Wonderful! I have the p90X program and a room all set up to start, but I've been procrastinating. I lost the first CD, the introduction.. I hate that. Anyway, do you participate on the P-90X website?

that's pretty good...I can't do several miles yet, but compared to a year & a half ago when walking a building over had me outta breath...I'm doing well! Last week I jogged half of my 2 miles with the dogs (not a continuous mile though).

I will have to see this week how long I can stay in a jog with them!
