Hmmmm they are all in hiding....I've met 3 men on here and not one of them has been who he said he is!! I guess it's at this point where I should question whether it's worth it....maybe the old fashioned way of meeting men should make a comeback?

And before you men jump on me.....yes I acknowledge that there are also a lot of insincere women too.....a sign of the times I suppose.

Decent AND Honest!?

Slow down now and take this one step at a time! Next you'll be asking for the moon and the stars!

I think most ladies are actually looking for honest, decent, faithful, good-looking, financially comfortable, stable men with similar tastes, interests, religion, backgrounds, and future plans - and THAT'S a lot harder to find than simply honest and decent.

I wonder if some of the these good guys might be a little less aggressive and therefore may not even be aware of such dating sites, or too shy to shout out to the world of their virtues. And of course many are found-out early in the game and been snatched up by the decent and honest women of the day.

But for those few remaining stragglers out there - time to let the world know who you are!

All the best!

Lol, I still want the nice guy. Perhaps it would have helped if he told me he wanted me. I thought he was just interested in friendship.

So, if you're looking for a nice guy, here's what you do:

1.) Build a time machine.

2.) Go back a few years and pull your head out of your ***.

3.) Take a look at what's right in front of you and grab a hold of it.

When I looked back & wondered What happen to all the good ones...Well I married mine & Found out Much, Much Later He was a Cheater... My H.S. Sweet Heart & There were warning signs but I choose to Ignore them, So, Here I am & Where are all the Good Ones over 40 ????

P.S. I'm not a MAN hater, I believe their is someone for everyone. I'm looking forward to finding my Someone <3

As of my post here you have made 13 posts. The way, IMHO, this site works best is to join the forums and get to know people. By making friends you will have fun at the same time. It takes a while. You can also learn all about the different areas of the US before moving her, as well as aspects of the culture you may be now unaware.

However, by meeting three guys here with only thirteen posts, you are solely opening yourself to chance ... and internet dating can be chancy. You will find fewer fakes in the forums... probably.

I knew a man before I joined this site saw him and his profile on here and knew he was lying. He lived with someone. Women and men both can lie. More likely a man though. Women tend to be more emotionally attached. And this is any age. Not just ours.

Okay I'm 32 and female but lucky 4 you I'm the youngest of six and have 4 brothers....They are idiots who are going thru mid-life male issues women see aging as a fact of life, Men think they can defy age as long as the "stay young at heart" which translates into act like jerks....which happens between 38 and 46 then they have their "Mental brake" and most calm down around 56 after they have exceptedtheir mortality .....or they do an idiotic thing and hurt themselves in someway and a quickly brought back to reality. Women have menopause -- Some* men just pause at about 19.

"women see aging as a fact of life, Men think they can defy age as long as the "stay young at heart" which translates into act like jerks"

...

So that is why there are more women that have plastic surgery and botox bodies, because they see aging as a fact of life...

@OP:
Anyway, it is very easy to stay inside your digital comfort zone and wonder where all the good guys have gone, right?

I've been traveling through Europe quite a lot and you know what? I don't see a difference between women anymore. Most of them are mainly interested in a career, money and stuff to buy with it. Like fake nails, hairs, ****, a set of wheels and the newest iPhone.

By the time they get wiser (if ever), they're over 40 and guys like me are no longer interested.

Besides, after doing on-line dating off and on for about six years, I can honestly say that only one of the ladies actually got out of her digital comfort zone to meet in real life. And yes, she had been lying.

So...

as one of the rare nice guys your talking about,i think alibobs has hit the nail on the head. all the nice guys have gone back to meeting friends the old fashioned way. if any of them are like myself, they find themselves back on the singles scene and as a way of breaking the ice they sign up to an online dating site. only trouble is since they're new to meeting people online, they're naive and trust the first person to show an interest in them. but it turns out that the person is not who they say they are and turns the nice guy off the online scene before he has a chance to meet any of the good people. but i figure it's worth a second go before i give up

Honesty is a diminishing virtue, even in real life it's difficult to find an honest person. In the virtual world, finding one will be twice as hard.
