Ladies and gentlemen. Would you choose beauty or brains. If he or she wasn't the brightest star, but had the looks and body that made you weak verses someone who wasn't so nice looking but had everything you were looking for in a relationship which would you choose to be with and why? Be honest now.

I want both.

That's why I'm single.

And it wouldn't hurt if she had a good job too.

Both.
And as beauty is entirely subjective,
everyone in the world has a shot.
Not so much the dim bulbs.

I'd have to go with both.

I'd have to say brains Good looking or not that deer in the headlight look is always unattractive

I'd have to throw a third category in "sincerity". Sincerity wins my heart over looks or brains.

There should be a happy medium in there someplace. I have dated a barbie doll or two and I find it difficult to emphathize with them when they are depressed over gaining 2 pounds. In my youth, I dated a couple that were a little homely but noticed that they got better looking after they started beleiving that they were attractive. Then there were a couple that were just ugly inside and out.

I think people can be attractive without the movie star look I think it comes from the heart

If I had to make a choice between brains or beauty, I would have to go with brains. It is amazing how much more attractive someone becomes when I can have an intellectual conversation with him and really respect who he is. Part of attraction is the chemistry between two people. Lust will fade if there is nothing else to keep me intrigued.

I've been involved with way too many cutesy airhead fluffballs. The attraction wanes with the ever-more-evident lack of brains. (And that rhymes.) Now I'd rather be with someone who has a conversational grasp of something beyond American Idol and whether the toilet paper should go over or under.

Yes, to have both would be nice. Might as well ask for a solid gold baleen whale while I'm at it.

I couldn't be with an Einstein that physically repulsed me, nor could I date a hot looking guy with the intellectual aptitude of a forest mushroom. I need a man that makes my heart beat faster both when he speaks and when he's silent. Go figure why I've been single forever. ohwell

While we're at it, which way does the toilet paper go?

Depends on if it's right-handed or left-handed.
