What's your preferred age range for dating? I have never really considered dating anyone more than 5 years younger than me, but I wonder if I am eliminating too many people. I mean, if one of my best friends can be in a relationship with someone so much younger and make it work...maybe.

I just worry that there are too many stages in life and if two people are not in those same stages it could cause a lot of problems.

I heard somewhere that women out live men by 7years, so I think seven years younger DOES NOT MAKE YOU a cougar.. we as women need to go with are own biological needs and forget what society tells us we want...

You make valid points...
but age is just a number. We are all at different levels due to our own experiences.
I know very immature 50 year olds and I know very mature 30 year olds.

I don't have any 'rules' about age - there are many stages in life and we each get to them at different times and ways - if a 30 year old is at my compatibility stage, then I'd gladly consider a relationship - most definitely a friendship - the same goes for a 70 year old.

You never know til you try - don't let a year of birth stop you from something potentially wonderful. I believe it's more about the person themselves - not the year they were born. flowers

Age is only a number, but i couldn't date a guy over the age of 49, for the pure fact that they wouldn't be as physically fit as me. They've already had children too, whereas i haven't. I try not be age-ist. All i know is if you click with the right person, then surely you could take a chance with them. Getting on well with each other is what i aim for. ohwell

I think it's how you get along with the person and not their age that really matters. I hear the term cougar thrown around here a lot but if you're compatible with someone younger than your age range then you should go for it! Otherwise you could be missing out on someone special.

here's a Mary-ism from All About Steve...
it just seemed to fit this

"...in the journey of life, just find someone as normal as you..."

"...if you love someone set him free, if you have to stalk him, he probably wasn't yours in the first place"
(yeah that one was just funny...but the first one fits flowers )

Well I don't want to go so young that I look creepy.

On the other hand I don't want to date someone that looks like
my grandmother either.

Course if she's rich then I'll make exceptions.

I AIMED for within about 5 years younger or older, but considering my last two gf's wound up being 10-11 years older, apparently my range wasn't set in stone......

My view on this is that if you are eliminating too many people, as you say, then you are a very hungry cannibal with a fast metabolism.

If your current main profile picture is recent, I love it!! It's the best so far I've seen of you. You look sort of... don't laugh, happy? I am not kidding, and I am not trying to insult you by reading emotions into it, however strange and foreign they may be to your hitherto experienced range of feelings and moods.

My grandmother was 11+ years older than my grandfather...
AND she had been his high school teacher - married over 50 years.

My father was 8 years older than my mother - married over 50 years.

Two of my sisters married younger men and have been together 35 + years each.

My brother married 'younger women' twice - one was 3 years younger, one 8 years younger - he's been divorced twice.

One of my best friends is married to a woman 6 years older than he is - one of the marriages I admire most that I "know".

Age doesn't matter - the people themselves do.

I think I'm beginning to see that.

Did you say, "happy", Andrew? Well, we can't have that. I'm taking the picture down. Yes, it's recent. Monday morning as a matter of fact. I can take another now if you like.

My preferred age range is 0-200 years of age, as long as she is in the age of majority in her legal jurisdiciton, and as long as she appeals to me.

Just very recently I fell in lust with two ninety-plus-year old women. I'm 58. Do you think it would be app- or inappropriate to marry them? I am doing it for their bodies, if they allow me, because money means nothing to me, but sex on the other hand is priceless. If they both say "yes", then they will be the next two trophies on my bedpost. Not notches, silly. I shrink the babe's heads and then crazy-glue them to the bed's posts. It's all the rage in London, Ontario, these days.

Now you have more appreciation for insect-sex between two consenting adults of our tiny friends. They have the Pulpa, the Igra, the coocoon, the etc. etc. stages. If they heard you, they'd probably say, "ihre Sorgen mochte ich haben." ("I would trade my worries for hers any day.")

Please tell me you are joking. Just looking at that happy pictorial representation of the sweetness that you are, sends me into stratospheric heights of emotional pleasure.

(I think I took a double dose of my prosac this morning.)

( Is 0 0 one pill or two? Or is 0 one pill or two? Because the doctor told me to take one, but I think I can no longer differentiate between numbers at such low counts.)

Any picture of a girl sends you into stratospheric heights. But, I appreciate the thought. flowerforyou

Age?

I ain't for it.

Women are loveable from day one till the time I can only remeber them through memories.

I don't care if it is a baby girl just seeing the world.

or a little girl braiding crap into my hair....

or the little old office lady who I make nice with 5 days a week. (she is 76 but I tease and flirt with her like she is 20..she loves it)

I dig em.

Most chicks are pretty cool.
