Some people are known to act "Crazy" or do weird things at the time of a Full Moon...any idea why?

You mean werewolves and vampires? Cant say bout werewolves, but i think vampires do exist. I saw a man with red eyes, sharp teeth, not long but sharp enough to pierce your neck. So...... Maybe they do weird things on full moon. What else you got on your mind? What kinda weird things? I've never seen anyone going on rampage at full moon.

Most teachers can tell you when it is a full moon without looking it up! Those are the days we'd like to go home early.tears

We're affected by everything that happens in the cosmos...
it's what we're made of.

If the moon cycles can affect the ocean tides, they certainly can affect us.

I tended bar...ya REALLY see the moon crazies in a bar full of drunks.

The full moon energy is very strong and will affect everyone differently. I don't really care for it as it makes me feel too agitated. I prefer the dark moon energy. Very calming on my nerves.

As to the question 'why'

I think most people think it's silly
to engage in the idea that the moon affects them at all..
so they don't understand why they feel the way they do
or act the way they do.

Exactly. It's like understanding PMS for me. If I know I have it and how it affects me I can make better decisions when it's affecting me. I will still feel the feelings it causes, but I won't necessarily act on them or make decisions based on them.

Statistically not accurate; but one can see better with a full moon, so you get up up to more mischief. Remember, it is always darkest before the dawn, so if you plan on stealing the neighbor's newspaper, that is the best time to do it.

I agree Ruth.

@Rich..everything doesn't have to be proven statistically or other wise. Sometimes we just know how we feel. It would serve us well to listen to our bodies more.

I agree, the moon is better than a flashlight when light is needed for mischief. ; )

It has to do with tides and water... I worked at hospital, on full moons patients went off. You could tell by the moon what kind of night you would have.

Yes, I have heard similar. Psychiatric patients can be badly affected.

It's the gravitational pull of the moon tugging on our brains

Well when you think of it the moon is always full
It's just how much of it you don't get to see because of the earths shadow
Now this theory that some people change because there is more light shining on this
hunk of rock that is in orbit with our planet.........
Thats hard to buy
