So pretty much, you never fall out of love completely, you just move on. Whatever moving on means to you. Dating again, new friends, trying to new ways to be happy again.

Do you also think that true even after loving that person that they hate that person that they are still in love with them on some level?

Probably. I think at least with me...the way I operate when I love someone, and deeply, it doesn't quite leave you. But you do your best to move on with your life regardless.

Love is complex...understanding it is a life long learning experience.

laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

In my opinion nothing is as simple as love is.

It is spontaneous & automatic.

When you take some effort to exhibit it,it is termed as pretending.

May be difficult to understand but is very simple to sense & do if you BELIEVE.

Love can never be complex.

Complexity is due to expectations.

Expectations kills love.

Still Love is always beyond expectations.

True...a lot of this has some grounds.

Being too specific really kills any chance you'll find it or have it come to you. More peeps want it to come to them. This I understand. I guess it has to do with putting it into fate's hands. What about your own destiny? I'm like Scarlett O'Hara, I do go after what I want, only if I am %150 sure its what he wants too. I guess its simple in either you feel that way OR you don't. Is this what you mean?

Well,I think being too specific don't kill any chance of finding or getting love, perhaps it works as a fine filter & helps you in getting ONLY TRUE LOVE.Those who don't love you in real stays away & only those who really wants you, understands you, loves you unconditionally dares to come closer.

If it is truly love then it is that simple.

Destiny anyhow decides your life at every stage,no matter you are too specific or not.Happenings happens their way.

If you are taking multiple chances then there are more chances of you having time to blame the destiny.

If you are satisfied with what (Not whateverlaugh )comes to you,if you have control over your own expectations then there are less chances of destiny making you blame itlaugh laugh

My own destiny seldom gives me any chance to cry as I neither go after something/someone nor expect something/someone come to me.

Actually I consider myself lucky that I get everything in proper proportion & well in time without expectations.laugh laugh

Yes,I must have lost many better opportunities ( So do everyone )for not being in time, for not trying, for not having interest, but why shall I be sad for what I don't have when I have so much to enjoy!bigsmile

From my own experience I have learned that no matter how good, or how bad things can get.......I always carry some love for them.
I have learned that we dont have to like someone to love them.
That we can love and hate them at the same time.
But as time passes the hate fades, as the love does.
But yet.....there is still....
some love.......
even after many years!!!

I guess its only simple to see once you have it. And they know how you feel and they feel it too.

I currently like someone. He doesn't know. I think about him more than I should. What a waste. Only because telling him will not matter. You can't control peoples' reactions to your own feelings. We weren't made to all think alike, and this is where I have a problem most of the time. Opportunity lost, but honestly, did I really have it to start?

If it is waste,it is just because your expectations & his expectations are not matching.

True love is always simple & it demands for leaving ego out.If you were really loving him then you wouldn't have expected him to notice it on his own, neither you would have cared about telling him matters or not.Though obvious, both these are your expectations.

It also seems that u wish to control his reactions to your feelings,to make him think alike, these are again expectations.

Expectations are making it complex hence it can't be termed as love.

I'm sorry.

I just feel its a waste because I know he won't feel the same. I feel it. But you're probably right. I am asking too much in this.

So what you're saying here is I should tell him? Just get it over with?

I don't want to control his reactions. I would be ecstatic if he was happy to hear this. I'm sure it would shock him, maybe he didn't see it coming. Its just I don't this vibe from him that its OK to tell him everything. That he feels even a little of what I feel too. There's basically no signs he likes me anymore than a friend.

I don't know what it is. Its the way he makes me feel...is it love? What is love? All I know is I can't stop thinking about him.

My feeling is that love is a living entitity and if both parties don't nurture it to their best ability it will die out no matter how much one might wnat to keep it going. That doesn't mean you have to toss out your own feelings or the memories that you cherish because all that is left is the shell of what was once there but it is kind of living a delussion to say you are in love with a relationship that has completed it's lifespan. But then sometimes living in an illusion is less painful than faceing the reality that love is not always eternal.

\

I think it is much more likely that one is in love with being in love. A lot easier than it sounds when most of us have been told that it is such a great thing to be in love and it is so engrained in our culture to love according to the rules which generally imply it is not nice to fall out of love or some kind of failure or character flaw if you admit you don't love a past mate on some level anymore.

Hmmm...you seems quite serious about it,but I still don't think that it is love.May be it is mere attraction too.

I don't see it as love as you are still thinking about his reaction which means that you are expecting returns.More over you have doubts in mind about his response which means that he too has some other expectations, complexity is obvious under these circumstances,so clearly it is not love.better you stay away from that fantasy.

May be there is someone else who needs your loving heart.A true love will not give you a chance to think twice, you will just find you are in love.

I am serious. I just don't think I know what love truly is. But it has nothing to do with his looks. Yes there is an attraction but it runs much more than that. Is it thoughts? Dreams? Wanting to be with them every second of the day? Be in their lives? Making them feel special and showing them every day in little ways? Showing them they mean everything to me? I feel like a lot of these questions are liken to someone being driven off the wall.

I just predict someone normal will never want to love me. I can't explain why...I'm thinking it has to do with shallow reasons. Like I've previously said, maybe its the world I live in, the cesspool of Madison Avenue walking hand-in-hand telling us THIS is what makes a man fall in love. I see it daily. Your beauty, your looks, how good you look in a dress. Materials, make-up? The inauthentic exterior. Nothing to do with how you treat others, where your heart lies, your passions or even trying to make others see their potential and helping them find what is missing in life.

My sister phones me up for advice all the time about guys, my brother as well. Even my friends have asked me what I think about relationships AND they are all married. I help them because I want to. I like seeing people happy and in love and I hope everybody in their own way finds what they are looking for with eyes open and their heart nurtured.

Without fantasy, I can't conjure up a reality I know won't happen. Fantasy is sometimes what keeps the idea alive. The notion that I'm not completely dead yet. Least to me.

There is no one else. I think being cursed is the gift I should accept and try to live with.
