For me a real man is a man who never makes me doubt his love for me. Who doesn't let me walk all over him, but is ok with letting me get my way over something completely ridiculous now and then. Who isn't afraid of hard work, but understands that money isn't really what it's all about. Who doesn't particulary like to fight and in general respects all others, but will knock somebody out if they really disrespect me or someone he loves. Who lets me have control of all the mundane household stuff, but will roll up his sleeves and mop a floor if he knows it needs done. He's a guy who always has my back and wants nothing more than to make me laugh and smile.

But that's just me. Maybe I expect too much. laugh

a real man isn't afraid of commitment in their terms and on their terms. when they say no games it's a response to how well we play them at their own game. we're dealing with modern women who in most cases really have many issues, depths and inadequacies. the pretty ones are just as jacked.

a real man does his own thing, has friends, has his career or maybe even he's on the right course and is getting an advanced education, all of which detract from his availability.

a real man is available to lay the wood because on our terms, that is what makes women attractive to us. their willingness to be dominated, won, and be educated to themselves.

he shouldn't make you feel anything because you have to resolve who you are in the first place. his love tends to be foolish, as you state you expect and respond to, it proves to be so. a man's work ethic serves his cause well enough without a female standing aside and assessing his productivity. why would he have to knock someone out if you weren't being silly in the first place? are you certified in managing the mundane or just certified? idk... everyone loves laughter, that connectivity we crave but it's easily attained via our social circles without a woman feeling she is owed this or that. how many times does a guy say, "baby, i'm sorry i cheated on you but you never made me laugh."

your attitude reminds me of my ex, who drove her new audi into the stadium lot and made it a big deal after i bought the tickets for her and her new hubby to attend a football game. after the game she flipped this MMA fighter off upon exit and got me on video pushing the retard back into his SUV because her new hubby would have gotten his azz beaten.

the one thing i remember about our 12 year marriage is me photographing her on her hands and knees hand wiping our kitchen floor. although she has no problem finding desperate men to want to help her with the bills, she knows who's her daddy. I sent that woman all over the world alone because i am a real man. to hear the excitement in her voice, shopping in paris, spain, amsterdam, tokyo, was bliss.

money creates happiness.

those of us who REALLY ARE the kind of woman u say you want get repeatedly freind zoned - why??? you ask

because y'all really do lurve biatch drama - u want to have something to complain about I guesswhoa

This is why i hardly take any flirting on here seriously. I can see right through it all. It's not worth our time. We know we're better than that. There are decent men out there. Just haven't found the right one yet. I wouldn't bother wasting time with people who want drama or play mind games. That stuff is for people who love manipulation.

it means a real man as in not a blow up doll?

OR

a real man in terms of a man of honor and faith who has pulled up his big boy pants and is ready for a love relationship

yeah, thats kind of what I was thinking

real man = no longer a 'boy' or 'child' in their behavior or expectations

Sorry you have ex issues, but I'm not her. So I'd really appreciate it if you don't take it out on me. There's much I'd like to argue with what you said, but it's pretty obvious that you've been really hurt and Are bitter towards women, so I dont think arguing will do any good. So I'll leave it at God bless and I hope you find peace and healing. Oh, and I will say one thing...I resolved who I was a long time ago. I'm very secure in who I am and happy with that person. So I may not need a man to make me feel things, but I definitely want one who knows how to feel things other than anger and scorn. Have a good day. :)

A "real man" doesn't pretend who he is. It's like I told a friend of mine one time. "Dude. You are a player. You know this. You are a chick magnet and you use it well. Own it. I don't care what people will say, and you can lie about not being a player. But we know the truth". And then Bill Clinton went out and jizzed on Monica's dress and had the nerve to lie about it. grumble slaphead  I taught him better than that.

When women refer to such thing, I think they mean the want a man, not a boy or fake make I guess...

I'm gonna say a "real man' is a guy that is responsible and somewhat mature.

- Doesn't play the ever popular games.

- Has a job/car/own place.

- Can possibly provide in a monetary sense/cents.

You know, your basic quintessential perfect person.

That just describes an adult who is able to provide for themselves and doesn't play silly games. No one is perfect. I'd expect this from any guy I'm thinking about dating, though.

I can agree with the strong part. I don't think a guy has to pay for me or pay my bills to be a "real" man, though.

A real man, as apposed to a boy or an immature whiny mamma's boy?
Or as apposed to a robot?

I would never actually ask for a "real man: because nobody really knows what that means. Everyone has a different opinion.

I would want a man who is intelligent, kind, mature, independent and who is attracted to the opposite sex.

I have seen and know some real manly men who were gay so being manly or a real man has nothing to do with sexual preference.

I don't start threads often so: In women's profiles we often read "I want a Real Man"?

In women's terms what is a "Real Man"?

Haven't seen this recently as a topic so thus my question.

Well... I will need about 20 men to strip and stand in a line facing me..I will point. laugh
