With Spring break upon us I am thinking about vacations. I wonder what your vacations choices might suggest to another person? Do you think we tend to be our true selves on vacation? Would you want to take or meet a new person on a vacation? Thoughts? Chime in.

Im open to meeting folks anywhere. Right now, Im on a cruise kick and the next vacation I take would definitely be a cruise to either Italy or a disney cruise that my daughter can enjoy.

Anymore, I don't do vacations, I do relocations. I hope to settle down in the somewhat near future though.

Do you think certain vacation choices could say something good or bad about someone? Is that why you're asking?

All I would add to this is that you never know who you meet and where. Keep yourself open to anything.

No more cruises for me..having done a North American cruise as well as a cruise around the Caribbean, 7 years later... do not want to go on another one for the foreseeable future way too claustrophobic

If I’m not in Edinburgh, maybe I’ll get to do Bulgaria again this year.

If you really want to get to know somebody, take a really long trip together in a very small car.

I don't think it would be necessarily good or bad but maybe more telling about their personality such a person who is a risk taker might mountain climb or want to sky dive where a person who likes a calmer me time might choose a comfortable hotel or someone very family oriented a reunion,?

I really agree with the idea of taking a vacation ; especially in a small car tells you about how a person can give and take. Helping someone move is also a good way.

LOL I can remener a 45 day long Permenant Change of Station from Tacoma, Wa. to Columbus, Ga, with two 12 year olds. Yikes! The real corker was watching the wheel of the 17ft. camper roll down the the Three Sisters in front of us and being snowed in a week while they were ordering in and reattaching it to the axile . I am pretty sure we stopped at every single bathroom in route to appease my son's OCD.
