Yes every relationship is different. Some times you see them and are immediately overwhelmed. other times love comes softly like the fog . . .it slowly creeps in and before you know it your lost.

Yes, and here's why: Infatuation is the state of being completely carried away by unreasoned passion or love: addictive love. Usually, one is inspired with an intense but short-lived passion or admiration for someone. You may not be immediately infatuated with someone but grow to love this person.

Sure can. You can also be infatuated with someone, but not love them. They are two separate things.

Yes. But if you can be in love AND infatuated with your partner for several decades...well that is a rarity that few will ever have known.

A relationship shouldn't be based on infatuation. However, having a bit show up now and then is healthy  and fun.

Personally, I see infatuation or obsession more as an external thing.

Love is more internal.

Love requires infatuation...or it's not Love...it's "Like"

Kojak use to love everyone...even the people he shot ....pow pow pow....who loves ya baby

some are even commanded to love...even their enemies

some claim that they love someone but are not in love with that someone...WTF?

Love is a term used oh so loosely that it no longer have meaning

which is why The Government had to step in and set a standard as to what Love is...a marriage license

Yes. Personally, I like it best when loving someone turns into bring infatuated with them, too. Hot stuff!

Yes.
Because infatuation is only attraction from the outside while love is from the inside. :)

In the purest sense, yes. In fact, if you can be selfless and give simply because it's needed, you've committed an act of love.

I'm infatuated with Seth Gabel, but I know I don't love him.

Love is what remains when the infatuation ends....

Or not

When all infatuation stops the relationship will begin to cool.

Infatuation is like sex: sex is not the foundation but without sex (and some amount of infatuation) things begin to cool.
