If the first date is going well, is there a possibility of a kiss? Or is that always saved for later?

If the date went well, and I'm interested in seeing this person again, yes, I will kiss on the first date. If the date didn't go well, no kiss. By the way, kissing compatabilities are important too. happy

Since I don't date anyone I am not crazy
for, they had better put out
the affection.

This is always an awkward situation. As a guy, we're never sure if it's okay to kiss on the first date. There's no reason why it can't wait for the second date. That takes all the guessing out of it.

If we have made it to the actual date....
and there is a mutual sense of continuation...
Then yes a kiss would be appropriate......
Afterall.......
A Kiss says alot that words cannot!!!

I don't know because I don't really casually date. Usually by the time I kiss someone I've known them for awhile and we've come to the conclusion that we both want to kiss each other. I have to REALLY like someone to go on an actual date with them.

If it's someone I have made a connection with and want to see again, then yes especially if they are a good kisser pitchfork

After a first date, and we decided we wanted to see each other again, but I could tell he was a little reluctant to initiate the kiss, so I did. Then he made a comment to the fact that he wasn't sure whether to initiate the kiss or not.

I wouldn't make the first move unless we've talked for a while before or something. If we didn't really talk or know each other, I would let her make the first move.

I have no problems on kissing on the first day, but I am too shy to make the first move.

I think kissing on the first date is a fine idea. I dont kiss at a meetup (since this is a dating site, thats a new wrinkle).

Like soufie said, if Im on a date with them its only because I like them.

Not kissing on the first date is usually disappointing, but not a deal breaker. If still no kiss on the second, I assume he's not interested in a relationship, and only lookin to hang out. I prolly wont go on a 3rd without a kiss. No gage for chemistry without it. These arent rules, just thinkin.

I agree with this. If there's no kiss by the second date, I'd assume he's not interested.

What's wrong with it? It's just a kiss..if there is no chemistry after the kiss...time to move on.

If its awkward, that may be a sign it isn't going to work. If we're hitting it off well, there's no awkwardness.

How does that work with platonic dating?

Who said there's anything wrong with it?

No one did.. it was a hypothetical question in my own mind. I thought it and answered myself.
