Heavenly father,
Help our friend find the special job you have in mind for him to bring him to his fullest potential in his life and service to you.
Help us to know what opportunities to share with him to amplify your blessings in his life.
Amen

Oh I hear ya! Tell you what, you pray for me and I'll pray for you. Deal?

I'm not too bad, I do a lot of voluntary work and some child minding. But I'm waiting patiently for a proper job.

I have about 90 days before IDK what, so hopefully I get a job by then.

BTW, I always pray for all of you, even if I don't say so, or it's not requested.

It seems that there MAY be something out there. I don't want to get my hopes up too high, but I'm thinking MAYBE I got something. IDK yet though, let's hope it's a job.

There are job bards at what ever school distict, state programs, ect that would be considered in your "Taxation" area that they have to let you check. Don't forget all federally funded hospitals are caught in this "open Door" hireing policy which includes some pretty nice private hospitals because they get research grants.

The Urban League and the Jewish Voational servicea are two great job assistance prohtams for people regardless of their race or religious affiliation. Same goes if you are ex-military of the dependent of military which even if you are not living at home but your folks are contributeing to your college fees you may have special status as a dependent as a student.

I think you are the right age frame for Jaycees too and since it is not so often what you know butwho you know that says oh yea I know this guy with a nice personality that we ought to hire will get you in the door.

Same goes for Habitat for Humanity. You meet a lot of people on weekend builds so a good way to "job network' as is the larger churces that are in your denomination line . Many have job search netwoek.support groupes.

Even states that have hireing freezes there are still essential jobs that are going unfilled and sometimes they hire. One thing about state jobs then you have preference to bid accross to your own career field once you graduate.

Get some middle range business cards made up and give them to everyone you know to call you if they "hear of something" . Cheaper than resumes and you never know what creative "onterium " job might show up out of the blue so keep a tie and nice shirt and a resume in the car so you can show up fast if someone tells you about something.

I'm seeking a career in Diesel Mechanics. The school I'm attending has job placement and a very good reputation, so employers do tend to seek out students from the school, because of it's reputation. I have a few issues have made it a bit more difficult, but not impossible to get a job in the industry. I just keep applying and sending out my resume though.
