Do you find it easy to forget or do you carry them with you? How does that effect the search for your mate?

I think alot of people carry them with them, for the purpose of seperating the good and bad qualities of each, and try to find one that possesses as many of the good qualities from each of the past loves.

I try to remember the things I loved about them and am cognizant of what absolutely didn't work. That's not to say I don't make the same mistakes over, but I try not to.

I don't forget they are a part of my past. Just not the one for me.... I do not carry them into the next relationship.
It does make me realize what I don't want in another relationship. But in no way does it change me from meeting anohter..Take the knowledge you have and learn from it don't let one bad relationship stop you from finding the right one for you.. |

I think it's cool to carry the thought/spirit of them with you. There are only a couple that I have not so good thoughts of, but for the most part the women in my life taught me how to love and develop traits that I treasure. Life is a whole and I think people get in trouble when they put things in a box.
