Has the government of the nation of Ireland enacted an official foreign policy that favors Palestinians?

Northern Ireland - a member of the United Kingdom - is generally divided into two groups of people, those who are nominally Catholic and those who are nominally Protestant. So, are members of both groups Irish? If so, then do you have evidence that both groups favor Palestinians?

Also, being that it is a part of the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland's official foreign policy that of the British government. So, does the British government have an official foreign policy that favors Palestinians?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "enacting official foreign policy that favors Palestinians"...What does religion have to do with being Irish?...Did you read my OP?...The topic is about exploring the depth and the cause of the anti-Israel hatred that exists in Ireland today...

I used to be a lot more critical of Israel, and I used to believe there was a fairly simple two-state solution, because I used to believe the Arabs were acting in good faith. I still want to believe that, but the evidence tells me I'd be a fool to believe it, because I've seen that every concession Israel makes is met with more demands and more excuses not to negotiate. They could have had peace ten times over if they wanted it, but they don't want peace, they want victory, and they won't be happy until Israel is wiped from the map. A member of Fatah central committee said as much on television recently, but as he said, they keep that to themselves, and tell the rest of the world a different story.

To answer your question Honestly Dodo, the people of Ireland are no different to Americans.

A percentage of the population feel that Israel are the main aggressors in Palestine and a percentage of people feel that the Palestinians are the Aggressors .

As to Northern Ireland, there is a division of support between Catholics and Protestants.

The Protestants for the most part support Israel

The Catholics for the most part support Palestinians.

The Conflict in Northern Ireland is very similar to the Conflict in Palestine.

Both Conflicts are about Land not Religion.

Protestants and Catholics are Christians but as America stand squarely behind Israel, The British stand squarely behind Protestants .

The British have apologized to the Irish People,

Yes, as J pointed out, one of the reasons anti-semitism is so strong in Ireand is because many identify with the Palestinians and consider them to be the underdog in the conflict between Palestine and Israel...
