Well, There is no one else for me to be except Deaddude325 of course.

But then and, Deaddude325 is not all that different from me at all because Deaddude325 is completely based off me.

If not myself. Who would I be?

For some reason, some people like to act differently online than they would in person. I'm not sure why, but it happens. Good to see most are the same everywhere, though.

Well, I don't act any differently online than in person myself. That being said; there might be a difference in how I treat people in general. What I mean is for example I would be more direct with a person that isn't overly sensitive where I may tip toe around someone who is sensitive. If I were to tell these two people the same thing; I would word it differently for the overly sensitive person. So, in essence I am treating people differently but really I am just being more diplomatic to the over sensitive person. However; I am still being myself when it comes down to it.

I understand what you're saying And it goes for real life as well as in the forums. Some people can handle being blunt and direct. Other people get offended very easily and you have to tiptoe around them.

I'm the same online as I am in person. Granted, I next to never meet anyone in person anymore, even if they are just friends that I DO know here in town. I'm holed at home almost 24/7. Basically, the internet is my "outside world meeting people".

Why do you stay home all the time? Why not get out and see people?

Because I have severe social anxiety. I can't really go anywhere and meet people, I freak out and have a panic attack. That, and my ex-gf got pissed and ruined my car, so I can't really go anywhere.

I may seem pretty serious in my posts but I do have a "zany side."...It hasn't come out lately because I've been under stress and worried about my son...Right after my husband died I called my 2 closest friends because I knew they would help me "connect" with all of my "sides" (eventually) before we hung-up..We had long conversations and I even found other things to talk about (besides just my husband's death) and a few things to "laugh about" too! This helped me see that I had the ability to "go on."...When my son developed cancer (too) shortly after my husband died I guess I got in a "slump" and "lost faith."...My closest friends live far away and we don't see or talk to each other all the time..I have some nice friends in my local area but they are not always "fun-loving" per se...They can be serious and even "shut-down." They don't always "get" my humor or jokes like my far-away friends do...And I've probably become more serious too because I haven't had anyone around to "tickle my toes" and help me get a "grip" and stay in balance. (On an everyday basis.)

I am a first-rate version of myself, and that doesn't do me any good heh.
