I'd prefer to be romantic, but I'm built practical. Real shame, but I can't pretend to be what I'm not.

Does it have to be an either/or? Can't you be both?

The practical can be romantic if it's done with a heart and received with the same.

I see no reason to be just one or the other.

Let me know

For me, it would depend on who the other person is.

I think this is just a hypothetical question. Maybe the question should have been what is more of a priority being practical or romantic?

romance is wonderful and for me, it can cloud the practical. a mix of both is best i feel.

As I see it, let the one who wants romance be the one who pays for it.

Usually I am practical BUT being a child of chaos I cannot help but break out the romantic sometimes!

But a one sides romance is so BOARING!

Love does work both directions you know!

Yeah. If a woman insists on the romantic option when it is more expensive than the practical option, then the woman should pay for the romantic option.

You might be surprised at how the little and inexpensive things can buy some serious mileage.

IN all reality a lot of HUMAN men are under some impression the cost of the gift equals how much they care. I am sure a Box of Cats given to a Melmacian female would have her thanking you between mouthfuls with her saying "How thoughtful of you."

Well, sometimes its the same thing and when a spontaneous act of romance it is unexpected, love will come like the Spanish Inquisition! NOBODY and I mean NOBODY expects the Spanish inquisition.

Heck, a six pack of good beer and a shoulder massage can mean a world to a woman as it could to any man!

I didn't know that good beer came in a six-pack.

Yes, I realize it's a hypothetical question. My answer still stands, though.
