A meeting between President Bush, the PM of Canada, and the pres of Mexico will be held August 20-21 for firming up plans for the NAU (North American Union).

Time is growing short to voice to your representatives how you feel. In fact at this late date it would be best to call your representative directly with your opinions.

See this link to find your rep and make contact. PLEASE
http://www.house.gov/htbin/wrep_findrep

If you are Canadian, there is a site to sign a petition, not sure whose behind it and if it will get to the Prime Minister, but anything is worth the effort to get our voices heard.

Before your do, be sure you understand the wide range of issues surrounding the NAU.
Begin with the SPP, while it was no secret, the quality of it’s reporting to the people was misleading and misrepresented. And the involvement of the CFR and support it gives for to both the SPP and the NAU. And who are those running for office with affiliations with any of these projects?

Here are some links – educate yourselves. Find out why our freedoms have been usurped, who is doing it, how and what might happen if we stand by and let it. Or just google any of the acronyms SPP, NAU, CRF

CFR SHADOW GOVERNMENT OBJECTIVES FOR AMERICA
What does the CFR shadow government want to achieve? Just look at the Congressional Record of January 10, 1963, pages A34, A35. It detailed some points that are disturbingly a part of today’s America:

Global Research, July 20, 2007

My previous articles on this website explain in detail the lead up to the North American Union under the pretense of the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) and the cleverly disguised methods the governments of Mexico, Canada and the United States have used and will continue to use to change the face and the future of our North American continent.
The upcoming, so-called SPP Conference in Montebello, Quebec from August 20-21 will bring the leaders of the three countries together to ‘ratify’ the SPP, about which their respective citizens know almost nothing. This is all part of a carefully laid out plan, and is no accident. Our government leaders are not at all interested in discussing this issue with the people who elected them. Democracy with a different twist.
The media is complicit in this fascist act by government in collusion with the corporate multinationals, and have either refused to publish anything relevant, or have glossed over the entire issue in true lapdog fashion.

North American community – proceeding just as the EU (European Union has)

The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) was launched in March of 2005 as a trilateral effort to increase security and enhance prosperity among the United States, Canada and Mexico through greater cooperation and information sharing.
This trilateral initiative is premised on our security and our economic prosperity being mutually reinforcing. The SPP recognizes that our three great nations are bound by a shared belief in freedom, economic opportunity, and strong democratic institutions.
The SPP provides the framework to ensure that North America is the safest and best place to live and do business. It includes ambitious security and prosperity programs to keep our borders closed to terrorism yet open to trade.
The SPP builds upon, but is separate from, our long-standing trade and economic relationships. It energizes other aspects of our cooperative relations, such as the protection of our environment, our food supply, and our public health.
Looking forward, President Bush, Prime Minister Harper and President Fox have identified emergency management; influenza pandemics, including avian influenza; energy security; and safe and secure gateways (border security and facilitation) as key priorities for the SPP. The Leaders also announced the creation of North American Competitiveness Council to fully incorporate the private sector into the SPP process.

Good job, redykeulous!
It's astounding - This started in 2005 and virtually nobody I know is aware of it! They think I'm nuts when I mention the "amero"! They don't want to believe they've been had by their
"representative" government! - 'Been a fan of Global Outlook
from 1st - Had long talks with Ian Woods - Good man.

I think from what I've read the first step is to bring the economies crashing down...so the american people will begin to scream for help...at that point they can announce the need
to "reorganize" and form a union for economic survival...and at that point the "amero" will be brought to light..(it is already printed & ready to go)...this "coup" will only succeed if fear
is amped up making the populace desperate for rescue...

keep your eye on wallstreet & beware the next terrorist act that may happen in america...

keep doing your research Redy...people will understand when we are paying $10 for a loaf of bread....

anyone else notice the price of groceries these days?...hyper inflation?...wish there was
protein value in eating all the credit card apps I get in the mail every day...

OK 'redykeulous',

I would simply like to get some clarifications on your position, or intent with the subkect of this post here.

1) Are you legitimately ticked off by GWB's half-baked and democratically questionable approach to NAU discussions???

2) Or are you against NAU???

Could you reveal a bit more of your position on this matter?

If you ar against NAU talks, what specific aspects of NAU do you have issues with? And why?

As expected of you 'redy', you're raising a potentially fascinating subject here. And as you know all too well, such topics can quickly move to the 'xenophobic' and 'bigotic' delusional 'firing range'!!!

Demystifying facts from delusional fiction, is always the perfect antidote to humans lower, despicable and destructful intincts.

Give your legendary discipline and talent for synthesis, I look forward to your forwarding this discussion in a constructive fashion.

Can't wait for your reply here!!!

what difference does it make what her position is

maybe it is to inform

and create an involved populous

is the reason asked to agree or disagree with her position

i would suggest calling your govt officials and

letting them know your position and not worry so much about the position of others

just a thought

but what do i know

Happy to see you all here.

CBX - you are so right on. Even those, like myself, who 'happened' to come across rather informal information about the SPP, the NAFTA super highway, and had heard about, even visited the CFR website, remained in the dark. It was imperative to all involved to be purposely misleading with tidbits of benign information with an upbeat rhetoric. The shear amount of exponentially developing information over the last 60 years from science, medicine, technology, polotics, the process that became an immigration nightmare, the sudden surge of money that became available in the form of credit and then the struggle to attain more, or maintain a balance in ones personal life, has made it almost impossible for the average citizen to stay aware and informed.

We depended on the media, as we always did, to provide the kind of investigative and non biased reporting that would give a world view, an overall perspective of current U.S. issues and it's governing body. Therein lies the formula for a complacent , accepting society, willing to leave the day to day governing to a selection of candidates based almost entirely on a party line.

The CFR began with an agenda more than 10 years ago. Like millions of others, I have viewed the CFR like I do many religions. Something about it was not right in my mind, but the surface seemed heavily guided by a religious hand. For that reason, I gave it leeway. I was wrong to do so. Today it presents itself, as other puzzle pieces draw near, as a catalyst for so much that has taken place that has added to the woes of this country, including a major political push into SPP. Recent research, that is not normally public knowledge, gave rise to those who have backed it from it's onset. Big Money, Big Business, Old Money.

Now, with an election looming quickly before us, our attentions are divided. I believe there are those proud of this fact, for I believe the divisions and diversions all coming at us at one time, was purposeful, planned and taken advantage of. Review closely the candidates for the upcoming election. Don't just listen to what they say, check out their works, their background, who backs them, and what others have to say about them. If they are heavily involved with CFR, it might be wise to dissect what they say, as I have found hidden in their comments, lies. Do not just back a party line, do not give your trust and confidence bases solely on conservative, liberal or any other single factor.

Your research into the candidacy, if done well, will bring to light much of what's happening today, with regards to the Federal Reserve, the SPP, NAFTA, NAU, the war and immigration.

If we only concentrate a concerted effort on the upcoming election, we will become informed and along the way, fight the battles, like the one I posed in the opening of this topic. Make your opinion known to OTHERS and to your representatives.

After all, this is the basis of democracy, our right to know, our right to have our concerns and opinions recognized by those who serve THAT PURPOSE. It is our right to know the ideas this government chooses to put forth into action, and to have a voice in the decisions and application of those ideas.

We have been usurped by the powerful of this nation, for they have had much time to plan, build, direct and implement their intentions, one by one, hidden in shades of gray.

Once the SPP has been set and agreed on in writing, the NAU is a matter of signature. The Super Highway has already begun, 'they' who have taken their time and spent their money, seem to think it's all a done deal.

What do you all think?

davinci - There are so many fronts to this internal battle to save our sovereignty and our rights and a democracy whose constitution is upheld and believed in by it's elected officials.

This is what divides us. For a while there I would have agreed fully with you. I still see a future of upheaval in this nation, and I would not mind if it came in the form of a dissolved Federal Reserve. However, at the moment, my opinion has been swayed. It was the upcoming election and my search to find the right candidates that have opened my eyes to so much more.

As I stated in my reply to CBX, I believe, as a nation, we need to concentrate on our decisions for the next election, and as our research presents the issues, we need to view them and enter our voices with the masses to those who currently have the power to make a difference. This is where we are stuck. Like the money and power before us, we need to get to a place, to get the people in place in order to set a recovery plan in motion.

Voil, to your question - ADJ was absolutely correct. It was my intention to draw the focus to the matters at hand. I believe in democracy, I believe in the basis of it's constitution and I also believe it can and will work but only if the people who form the union of this country are openly and honestly informed. And further, that they make the efforts to remain so and to take an interactive role in all the issues that affect the direction that this country will take.

In this vein my opinion, while it may show, was not important to this topic. I will, however, tell you this.

I am not opposed to a future in which there is a world focus. I am not opposed to changes that advance knowledge, healthcare, and quality of life to all.

What I am opposed to is the loss of sovereignty, the loss of my voice with regards to the decisions this government makes, and the disregard or exclusion of any under the laws we have comitted to and the values and rights contained within this constitution.

That being said, how can I not be against a government who have made legal exemptions, imposed personal philosophies over the views of the people, who have allowed this country to be led into a war whose legality is questioned throughout the world. A government who allowed all this to happen, who are only now, with many of us, beginning to see and understand what the secrecy and propaganda of the administration has led to.

I am 100% against ANY FURTHER ACTIONS this government would set into motion. I spent 7 hours last night doing research and writing in forums and providing links to our officials and more.

Further, the documents for implementation, that is available regarding the SPP and the NAU and, dare I say it again, Immigration, has the ability to destroy not only the sovereignty and individual rights and freedoms that now exist of three countries, but it will not be something that we will easily get out of, once in place. What good is a constitution when the freedoms it gives are only to a select few?

I would like to ask, where is there anything in this thread that adds up. Except for a meeting amongst the leaders and a shaky trade agreement, piss poor attempts that could hardly be called an agreement in any sense of the word. You have shown me nothing, and I believe this might be the reason for Voil question challenge for more definition. I also am having a difficult time understanding your stance here.

All I see are contradictions that do not match the reality of what is!

The Reality is Canada is registering complaints for non-payments on lumber contracts, fighting with the US over extradition treaties, wont upgrade the security of their airports, which by the way is the reason for the newer passport laws. They are arguing politically, and posturing militarily for the rights to oil lying miles under the ice, and do not support the war in Iraq! They have their own health care system that is far better than ours, and a proud national identity I dont think they will give up!

Mexico, HA, HA, give me a break, The super highway is a dream, funded, but not legislated. It is being resisted at every junction, by the teamsters Union and the Senate. The Senate just rejected legislation that would allow Mexican Trucking Companies a waiver on safety requirements needed to operate on American Highways. Safety requirements the Mexican Companies say will cost them billions and take close to 10 years to meet!

Congress was conned into signing NAFTA, having been made promises that aren't being fulfilled and threatening to rescind the agreement if prior agreement arent enforced. As much as we hate NAFTA, the Mexican people like it even less.

Also have you seen the new immigration measures fixing to be implemented? Have you considered the corruption of the Mexican Government? Have you noticed the civil war that is raging just over the border? Do you really think the US wants any part of all that?

This subject has conspiracy theory all over it.
Who is supposed to be the great benefactor?

The US? Not on a government or economic level. Maybe corporations , but we all no they like NAFTA because it frees them from paying taxes and gives them the opportunity for cheap labor without adhering to labor laws.

Canada? maybe they would benefit in agriculture, but they would lose in areas like oil and lumber, and the hockey would suck!

Mexico? The Mexicans might be poor, but they aren't stupid! They understand what NAFTA does to them. In the city of Oaxaca months of tense standoffs between labor protesters and the state government may be building up to all-out war. Caused by the slave labor conditions brought on by NAFTA, and possible fixed elections.

when i first heard about these so many years ago i thought that it was a bad idea that never had a chance of happening. i still don't think it's a good idea but the thing that has me right now is that you never know what kind of things bush will do while in office.

i didn't figure there was any use in impeaching bush because i didn't think he could do any more damage in the time he had left. even if this never happens my opinion has changed drastically since then.

What are they going to do fill in the blanks? with what?
They have even invented the future flag!!!!???
And the shadow government?? Its existed since the beginning of time!! Dont ya know?

Wait, Im still looking, there are a couple of sites there that look good, but that one is right wing conspiracy for sure.
The things I said are reality. Maybe there are a couple people who would like to see a NAU, but I dont know who.
It sure as hell wouldnt be the US government. Why would we, To take our economy from the strongest in the world and weaken it with two weaker economies?

I'll finish looking at your sources redy!!
