Before we examine what the Word of God says about the mark of the beast,
let us ever be mindful of Revelation 22:18-19:

The MARK of the beast is mentioned eight times in the book of
Revelation:

Revelation 13:16-18
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond,

In these verses, the MARK is referred by:

Rev 13:16 "a mark"

Notice how the mark is personally associated or representative of the
beast or antichrist:

Three times (14:9, 15:2, 20:4) it’s called "HIS mark".

I used to read about this stuff as a kid. I was more curious than a
"believer"...

I *think* the actual number 666 comes from numerology. Apparently,
every person's full name can be converted into some numeric equilvalent.
So the anti-christ's name (whoever that is) when converted becomes 666
(or the values added up or something).

As for the "mark".. this seems to have many potential explanations. The
most recent theory is RFID tagging. Like tagging every object in our
physical universe with a number so you can track it back to where it
belongs etc. People would also be "tagged" and this is when the "mark
of the beast" stuff started coming out about it...

i would appreciate a religion and politics forum. arguments are
definitely going to happen with those types of subjects but i don't
think they should be left out. most people here seem to be able to
accept people for who they are and what their opinions are.

One book in the bible relates to another, it cant be taken out of text

.... this is when the human people from the earth 144,000(become
heavenly) and the great crowd(stay on earth)is acknowledged from God.
These are the ones that come out of the great tribulatin.

Read all of Rev.12:1-17 Pay close attention to verses 7,8,9,,12.... This
is when Jesus becomes King of the heavens and Jesus/Michael and God's
angels battled and put Satin and his satanic angels out of heaven and
cast them to the earth. Now Satin is REAL angry ! And we are living in
that time period.

Read all of Rev.13:1-18 Pay close attention to verses
3,,9,10,11,,14,,16,17,18 This is when Satan builds his power on earth.
This has now been going on since the late 1800's took hold with the
first world war up to now and future yrs to come. Also the mark of the
beast comes into play.... verse 9 says "if anyone has an ear, let him

Read all of Rev.14:1-20 Pay attention to verses 1,,3 This is when The
Lamb(Jesus/Michael) come together with the 144,000 and states they came
from the earth. They are resurrected to a heavenly spirt before
Har-Magedon...(This is the first resurrection of the dead to heaven.
after the 1000 yrs of Jesus's Rule all that have died from the past will
be reseurrected to judgement)

Rev.16:15,16 The Lamb Jesus announces he is coming to earth for the
battle and 'no one' will know the time of his arrival...Har-Magedon

Rev.17:13,14 The Lamb Jesus and the 144,000 is battling Satan and his
satanic angels.

Rev.17 to Rev.20 is the battling

Rev.20:1,2,3 Satan is chained and put into the abyss for 1000 yrs. The
144,000 and Jesus judge the living and rule over the earth for 1000 yrs
bringing all things back to the original purpose.

Rev.20:7,8,9 Satan is let loose to tempt all the earth again.
Rev.20:10 Satan is dead forever
Rev.20;12,13 people resurrected to judgement
Rev.20:14 death and the grave are done away with.
Rev.20:15 the people that didn't make it through Har-Magedon and sinned
during the 1000 yrs are not writen in the book of life and are destroyed
too.

Rev.21 and 22 is about the new heavens and new earth and that all former
thing are done away with. Jesus rules over the earth and God now
communicats with man as he did with Adam


Read the whole Book of Revelation,, this book about the time of, the
control of, and the destruction of Satin and this crappy system we live
in, and how it will go back to the original purpose God intended for
human life



We will never no when that time will take place till it happens. God
will tell Jesus/Michael when to start the battle with Satin. And Jesus
will not know till that time also.
