a crush is a fantasy….[PROJECTION]…..love has many meanings depending on the games your playing at the time……...this my seem over the top for you……...its just the way it is………..REAL LOVE IS CARING ABOUT THE HAPPINESS OF ANOTHER PERSON WITHOUT ANY THOUGHT FOR WHAT WE MIGHT GET FOR OURSELVES€¦..ITS UNCONDITIONALLY CARING ABOUT THE HAPPINESS OF ANOTHER PERSON...

Crush is just a temporary pleasant diversion with minimal risk. Love now that is putting your heart on the line.

In my opinion it is age dependent, when of school age you can have a crush, an attraction towards someone that you find very attractive, that you have not known very long, and maybe not even dated. Love is something that is much more than just an attraction, and developes after knowing and dating someone for a while, and is usually later in life.

I think there's different kinds of love. Some is just silly and fleeting like crushes and other is deeper and more permanent. There's a wide variety which varies from individual to individual. I think I agree with the saying marry your best friend. Love is too come and go.

A quote from an article
A woman was asked how she made her 60 year marriage last. She answered simply, "My husband and I never fell out of love at the same time."

Sparkyae, always enjoy reading your posting, but of late they've become illegible with all the weird letters and accents. Do you maybe write it in Word and copy/paste it here? Then you get the weird stuff as you also copy/paste Word's hidden coding and forum-board software does weird things with that.
Try notebook, that should be okay, it doesn't have hidden coding.
( I sometimes write in Word / Libre Office, as it is more pleasing to work with, than paste it in Notebook to get rid of hidden coding, then post it on a forum-board)

When I think of crushes I think of affection between teenagers, when I think of love I think of greater affection between adults. So to me, one is a more mature emotion than the other.

and I will give the answer for the woman:

Crush &love
Lust &love
Spit or swallow

For a man, if she love you & you
finally tell her you love her..
..she will never bug you again...
.. that's the biggest lie I ever
told..or next to that one:laughing:

"I always tell the true..even when I lie"

Emotions can't be accurately defined and the prize for best answer has to go to Dodo_David. (Easy winner) (The winner's prize is a date with God. Where is he? Tied up checking spellings possibly). The dilema is that one can feel intense emotion ('crush' as some say) continuously for several years and rush home every night to embrace a partner who provides magic, your electricity sets the wallpaper on fire, but one who unfortunately treats you awfully. Conversely at another point in life one may engage in a mutually caring, loving relationship where love, trust, respect, etc. are mutually earned and well deserved and grow. No abuse, just happiness. I've had both, and would choose the bad relationship any day of the week due to the sparks and passion. 'Crush' 'Romantic Love' or whatever are all tricks the brain plays on us in order to push us out there to get whatever it is we each need. People vary in their needs, and use different definitions which are generally meaningless. Just enjoy whatever it is turns you on and don't kill anyone.

A crush is temporary infatuation, Love is serious emotion.
