I ignore them completely, some quickly ask for whatsapp number as well that makes me hate whatsapp the more.

good advice another tactic by underhanded people is to use WhatsApp Hangouts I wouldn't do that email or something else, get there phone number doesn't mean it's not bogus even if it's a landline tho! be aware of premium numbers. keep your wits about you

Nope, I wouldn't see it as insecure...
I'f see it as him putting the ball in your court...not being pushy..
"If she's interested in me and wants to go/ hang out...she'll call.."

Because maybe he felt he caught you off guard...or you don't want to look like you pick up men at the gym...

The last few times I logged on here I have had a few messages from guys just giving me their numbers and asking me to call or text instead of chatting on here. I dont like that, I want to first determine if you are real before I give out ANY info. Any one else get that? Do you risk it just to get to know someone??

Only to whom I'm attracted to, sorts out scammer and fakes in short order. Color me old school but if a person isn't willing to talk on the phone they're likely not worth my time anyway.

Yes I can be blunt.

absolutely NOT, never give out your number. I've had a few right off the bat wanted my number. lot of them want to go on Hangouts or Whatsapp for more private convo. yeah cause they want to scam you. also ladies there are lot of men on here claiming to be military. I knew someone that was military and he told me to be careful because they want money or gift cards, anything they can sell. so be careful....

Best idea I've seen is to pass along a scammers number.
I don't think there would be a better ways for scammers to spend a day than talking to one another!

I make money when people call me.

My number is 1-900----OLD-Fart.....it's $2.99 for the first two minutes and then drops to 99 cents a minute. bigsmile
