The last few times I logged on here I have had a few messages from guys just giving me their numbers and asking me to call or text instead of chatting on here. I dont like that, I want to first determine if you are real before I give out ANY info. Any one else get that? Do you risk it just to get to know someone??

How many times have I received solicitations to give out my e-mail and/or ph.number for the cacamimi excuse that's it's "easier to communicate" that way whoa That spells scammer or schemer.

No one gets my ph.number unless I know it'll be beneficial for me financially.

There was a guy a while back who claimed women who didn't give their phone number right away had "issues"...and he wouldn't be interested in them..
Now aside from I bet that dude had some "Issues"/ peculiarites of his own....if you start of making demands the woman (or man) isn't comnfortable with right away..that does not bode well for the relationship doen the road...because they might have "control" issues...

You are trying to get to know someone, suppiosedly putting your best foot forward, so-to-speak.....and saying "if a b**ch has issues where she won't give meher number right away"....that is definately a red flag and good for her she dodged that bullet..

Better to let people offer their e-mail and phone number when *they* feel comfortable, and not because you demand it.

P.S...this is not directed at anyone on *this* particular chat/ forum...just a general statement.

I will give out my cell number to someone if I'm comfortable with them and have an actual meeting with them scheduled. They will get that number shortly before we would be leaving for the meeting. Other than that, NO WAY!!!!

A good way to say it. I have noticed these messages from profiles with numbers tend to look a bit fake

Just got another one not fifteen minutes ago.
She(he) messages me in German saying she(he) lives in France... I know...
Then she(he) asks if I have "WhatsApp so we can get to know each other better" ( another cacamimi excuse whoa )
I just replied:
Hahahahaaaa!!

It doesn't sound like a good idea. Too many have asked for my number on the first or second message. They usually say that we can text because they are not on here a lot or off this sight soon. Why would I want to text with a stranger?

I honestly don't think this is a topic worth discussing in the forums. You never know who's reading your posts, and it may place a target on your back.

I'm not comfortable giving out my phone # right off the bat. I've been getting a load of emails from potential scammers to go to hangouts....what's the matter with talking to me on here awhile?

Will only give my cell number out to someone I am comfortable with and that takes time. The same with my email. Have given my cell number out once and do chat with that person now and a meet up is planned. Have given my email out twice, both of which I felt comfortable doing so. Time is the key thing here. Would never do that right away.

I won't give anyone my number..because of tweo reasons.

One, a landline can easily be tracked to a physical address...so, nope.

Two...the 2 times i gave someone my number (before doing due dilligence)..somethimg came out shortly in the conversation that..had we chatted about more first, would have come out on the site, and I would have stopped the conversation right there.

Of course, these clowns had to keep calling and one even left nasty messages...
I had to block their number...

So, I wait now..
If a guy is too pushy about it...I wonder why..
Saying "I don't like chatting on this site" or "I am not online much" are BS excuses...
If that is the case, then maybe online dating is not for you.
