Friends with benefits

It's always pleasant to have friends with benefits. What each benefits from the other is personally measured. And so long as each is happy with the structure of the relationship then it is worth it to them.

Wouldn't you think?

I don't agree with friends for benifit I think that's just taking advantage and you'll probably in the long run become enemies

Can be if you are happy with a casual relationship. My ex girlfriend was always giving me the, "We're just friends" jazz. I was her boyfriend when it suited her though.

I have a lot of female friends, never slept with any of them- even though it was offered. I think I am very compartmentalized a booty call is a booty call and a friend is a friend

To each their own. It's not always a bad thing, just be prepared to eventually lose "benefits" after the other has found someone to date.

what benefits...but that's exactly right - that's why that type of relationship is a bad choice. Men always think that sex with them is the benefit...ummmm no....most of y'all aren;t really that good...lol

laugh

... isn't that rule #6.. if you meet someone serious you break off with each other..
. immediately..

problem being that usually one of the pair in a FWB is already serious so someone gets hurt. most people think that is always the woman, and it is often enough, but I do know a couple of guys who were really hurt by an FWB...they thought it was going somewhere...

personally I have no time or interest in any relationship that is not "going somewhere" so I do not waste my time on FWB

but if someone breaks it off because they meet someone else there is nothing you can do it about it...crying that's against the rules, or there was no rule like that, is not going to save that relationship

when your FWB meets someone they really want to be with there will be nothing you can do about it - rules or no rules...and they will not ask that person for a FWB.

I've had a couple of my guy friends ask me this. I tell them they already have the benefits of my friendship; those being the benefits of my advice whether they ask or not and the benefit of knowingI'm right.
And they still asked does this mean you won't even talk dirty to me.
So I said you mean like stinky shoes and sweaty socks and things like that?
Then they get the message that some things will happen only in a relationship.
