Just started Bates Motel....5 Eps in...not bad...

You should check out Criminal Minds and Gotham.
I have all 10 series of CM ready to go...seen about 4 series already but I really want to start at the beginning again....

You have only seen the first four seasons? I like all the seasons but it gets better from Season 3 on when Joe Mantegna joins the cast as David Rossi and starts getting really intense from Season 5 on. You really need to watch all the seasons and episodes in order though.

Have you seen Gotham yet? It's a lot like Criminal Minds but based on Gotham City before Batman. It's not really like a comic book TV show\movie (I am not a big fan of Batman or DC stuff, but this show is awesome). It follows Jim Gordon when he was a Detective before he becomes Police Commissioner. He investigates murder, corrupt police officers, serial killers and the mob. It also has the Penguin, Riddler, Joker, Catwoman and numerous other villains before they became villains. It also has Bruce Wayne as a kid in it. It is really bada$$.

Thanks I will check it out....drinker

Gotham didn't do it for me....oh well...

Scorpion, based on a true story about Walter O'brien. It is interesting and a lot of techy stuff is happening in it.

PBS - Masterpiece Theater >>> Just started last night:

Set in the picturesque, seaside county of Cornwall, Poldark follows a rough-and-ready hero with nothing to lose as he tries to restore his community, fortune, and family name.

It’s 1783, and Britain is in a crisis of falling wages, rising goods prices, and civil unrest. Dashing, adventurous scoundrel Ross Poldark (Aidan Turner) returns from fighting overseas to find his world dramatically changed: his family estate is in ruins, his father has died, and his sweetheart is engaged to another.

Though he is encouraged to pack up and make a new life elsewhere, the stubborn Poldark resolves to change his destiny and restore his lost fortune. As he assembles a motley band of friends and servants, Ross finds a partner equally headstrong to share the twists and turns of his new life. But changing the status quo of this country hamlet creates powerful enemies, and soon Ross is caught between what he knows to be right, and what society dictates.

Poldark is based on the first two novels in Winston Graham’s sweeping 18th-century saga. The first television adaptation of the series aired on MASTERPIECE in the 1970s, and now a new generation can delight in the exploits of a romantic hero like no other.

******************************** AND THIS OTHER ONE

THE CRIMSON FIELD Episode 1

Follow Kitty, Flora and Rosalie, volunteer nurses who work in a tented field hospital. As they settle into their first day, it soon becomes clear that no training could ever have prepared them for the reality of working near the frontline.

I am watching Salem but it gets going from ep 4 the first few episodes I found a bit B-grade. What do you think?

I have recently finished Penny Dreadful, I wasn't sure how they'd combine the different characters from Frankenstein, Dracula, Dorian Gray etc. but they made a cohesive story out of it all. I love the Victorian costume.

I have just finished Season 1 of Bitten, about a were pack and their various trials in life which I really enjoyed apart from the bad soundtrack. I suppose they didn't have much of a budget for that.

I watched Helix about a month ago, it's about a virus outbreak. Worth a watch, some suspense and creepiness.

I can't wait for Season 2 of Hemlock Grove, that show is bloody awesome. If you haven't seen it, watch a trailer on youtube. They did the best werewolf change ever!

Just finished Utopia S01 and S02....wow!!!!
A brilliant, edgy and gripping series....but that is just my opinion....hehe

The story follows a small group of people who find themselves in possession of the manuscript sequel of a cult graphic novel called The Utopia Experiments, which is rumoured to have predicted the worst disaster of the last century.
This leads them to be targeted by an organisation known as The Network, which they must avoid to survive. Using the manuscript, they must uncover the meaning hidden in its pages before the disaster depicted become reality.
