With my last boyfriend, teach him be careful what you wish for.
He said a couple of times that I dress like his grandma (in regards to a couple of dresses with a hemline below the knee) That I'm young and should show off a little.
So I did. He was a drummer. When he and the band were playing at the club, my brother and I went to their show and I had on a hot little skirt and cute halter top.
He missed a couple of beats in the song they were playing.
Never again complained about me looking like a grandma. Lol

I do not respond well to passive/aggressive comments... I remember them. What is said teasingly does have truth behind it from the person that said it.

If it is an insult that goes for the jugular... Watch out, karma is a biotch...

I don't really think that teasing and insulting are the same things necessarily. Most teasing is meant affectionately. People can cross the line with it, but I do not think most intend to do so.

Insults are pretty easy to spot. I just file them away. I don;t really react. I walk away if I can like Scoob said, but if it is a situation where I cannot walk away. I figure out a best solution to deescalate and move on

Humm well I'm pretty good with the come backs so sure I would have a remark to come back with...

And really it would all depend on where it was said in front of friends ect... which still would not make a difference of me coming back with something. And it would depend on what they said..

The way I look at it if they don't like something I do or say then there is a time and a place to voice your opinion. It is never a good thing to insult someone which only causes more issues..

And if it was a regular thing they did well there is a door... don't let it hit ya walking out of it...

First is to knw if am actually wrong, den weda am wrong or right,i would apologise for peace to reign,den wait for his happiest time.when he is happy at any time,it could be after 3days or whicheva day,i will walk down to him and playfully address d issue so dat it wouldnt repeat itself next time.u dnt insult a man when he is insulting u.play d fool as the wise then be calm till he is no more angry.u dnt need to b sad even if its hurting,i will sing and sleep
