I am a happy go lucky kind of guy and have been for a long time now.
Now I'm back on the dating scene though, a friend told me I need to be less smiley and more "annoyed/ sour faced" if I want to attract women. So I'm wrestling with whether I shouldnt be as happy anymore. Happiness is my personality, which was good when I was younger. Now nearly 40 is it REALLY time for me to fit the stereotype of a grumpy middle aged man??

I don't really want to, but I don't want to be single for much longer either...

I find that most women like it when I focus on their breast instead of their face while communicating..

If I start low, it only can go up from there!

Well, I guess it could work if they fancy the types like James Dean or Luke Perry.. laugh

BTW, if there's such thing as the stereotype of a grumpy middle-aged man, I'm pretty sure there should also be the stereotype of a happy middle-aged man.. bigsmile

Well any woman that expresses herself by freely going topless is a good dater imo happy

@Thomas and JT you guys are so bad

@OP. Stay happy go lucky. Most girls I know would be more attracted to a happy guy than a grumpy guy no matter what age they are.flowers

Wouldn't matter. I ultimately want a relationship, not just a good date.

Some dates were not so good and yet I still ended up being good friends with them in the end.

It depends on who you're trying to attract - a grumpy middle aged women?

What behaviours constitute a good dater????

Someone who knows themselves & what they are getting themselves into.
