I work for outreach most of the time I love my job I get to work with the elderly in their homes, they are so interesting and full of wisdom. One time I took care of a lady that was 102 boy the stories she could tell , I felt so priviladged to know someone who had seen and lived thru so many different times. On? He other hand I deal with a lot of people who are at the end of life and having to say goodbye. Doesn't get any easer, the worst part is the ones who lose their mind to demenica and the family has to give them up to a care home!

I love my job as photo radar for the police. Its close to my home, I get paid well; I can go anywhere in the city I want; take my breaks when I want, only work 40 hours(actually about 32 after meals and workouts), and I get 4 days off. Also; if I work even 1/2 hour of OT; I get 5 hours of OT. As well; I wear a uniform which is no cost for close and if the weather gets bad like it did two nights ago; I get to stay home for a snow day and still get paid. My boss is a hoot and we have lots of fun during team building days. Best job ever. bigsmile

I like mine most of the time. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it.

I am IT guy. I show choo-choo. I show where choo-choo go. Our group is basically a railroad version of Google Maps lol. It is challenging, and sometimes high pressure, but I like challenges and the job is seldom boring.

Oh and Ame, you're still way better than me at math! drinker flowerforyou

Yeah...choo choo man! Definitely a great job....and challenging to 'BOOT'!! (LOL....you know what I mean!)

Of course I am better at maths....I do accounts! And I can add up a string of figures without a calculator!

Romeo...I noticed that about you! You are a man of many talents, respect you  ...and so, I bet I definitely won't be able to beat you in calculations! I don't have a degree in anything and I am an IT dork! I get my son to do most of the IT stuff on my android & my desktop!

But as for Choo Choo Man, LOL....I know for sure I can beat him in maths!

We have a seamstress that is supposed to sew on our name tags, patches, and do alterations but unfortunately the seamstress is across town and very slow to get things down. So, it has been outsourced to me as I also am a seamstress. Just for sewing on a few name tags; I made over $300.00. So on top of the great job I already have; I also get to make extra money doing the sewing.

right now I have four jobs, but my main job is administration of payments in one nonprofit organization. Working with databases, communicate with donnors, love it. my colegues are also great, very friendly atmosphere. in the past i worked as an accountant, in fast food, as a secretary, translator of croatian language, well, i changed a lots of jobs. But would love to try one another: work with books - adore books. when I come to someones apartment its the first thing I see.

I have tried many jobs too before settling in something I love. Prior to that.....I was a waitress, a factory production operator, Factory Production Line Leader, a receptionist, a general clerk, a secretary.
Wishing you the best in your career choice too!flowerforyou

Thank you Amelinng flowerforyou Hope my book dream will come true some day smile2 and I wish you all the best in your work too

...ok..my bad, maybe not blind folded...but Not meaning to sound vain or over confident... I am one dang good seamstress... Honestly I thought this line of work would be to unpredictable and hit and miss work to do on my own...but I know better now...Hate to say it but right now I am staying put for the insurance...my eye and dental kicks in this March..and I really can't sew blind...lol..but hoping by summer I will be an independent.. flowerforyou
