What if you've been married for many years ( over twenty) and the sex stops ( the wife has no interest or desire) do I go out side for relief . Be safe if course

Why do men always ask if it's alright to cheat?

Some men Estelle, some men.

Not all men do this.

I am not condoning those that do. Merely clarifying that this behavior is not inherent in ALL men.

you're only presenting a very small part of the picture?
my first question is does she work and do you help her out with things at home? could it be she's just tired?
do you take her for granted? have you stopped all those little details that made her feel special?
is she perhaps depressed or stressed out?
have you looked into any of this?
or is it just about your needs?
how would you having an affair fix whatever is going on at home?

I mean it's never women who ask if it's ok to cheat..are women just more intelligent than men?

to be fair and honest men aren't the only ones who cheat. it's not limited to one gender or one culture.
nevertheless, getting back to the original question, seeking a partner outside of marriage does nothing to solve whatever is going on in the marriage.
many people give up too easily and forget the importance of the vows they made.

Also not accurate.

Some women DO cheat and women DO ask if it is OK to cheat. In fact, some women do many, if not all, of the things you accuse all men of doing.

I feel that if you have been married for 20 years you are lucky and its obvious that you married your soul mate so no one knows her better than you. I suggest a get away vacation something you both have not done in awhile, a cruise, a weekend in a cabin etc.Buy her some sexy outfits and tell her how much you miss making love to her all the time.Best of luck to you both Sir.

Go outside for relief .. Do you mean have an affair or go out in the garden and masturbate . Both are ridiculous options . put some romance back into your relationship

OP (Greygoose), before you can even address whether you should seek 'discreet or indiscreet' relief outside of your marriage, just curious:-
1) Do you still love your wife? If you do, then try to rekindle that passion that you had earlier on in your relationship.
2) When you say wife has no interest or desire....did she express this? For me, if certain aspects of the relationship has gone sour, the desire goes sour too....so, you have to make it 'sweet' again. Then the desire will resurface.
3) Is your wife aware that you may seek relief elsewhere? Does she encourage it or doesn't care whether you do or not? The answer to this will be an indicator of the kind of relationship you are having now.

Here's to hoping that you can save this marriage of yours. It's no fun searching again....reflect and seek that feeling you have with her again. Best wishes to you!flowerforyou
