I read two articles today on the human mating season. FELEPIPHANY Which was originally thought to be in the June- July period.

But science now says this is a myth.
That it really heats up for most humans around December - February.
*Depending on the region we live in*
This is based on the MOST recorded pregnancies.

I also think it's mostly due to ppl being indoors during winter, nice and cozy, cos it's cold outside, so they'd probably be easier inclined to cuddle up and have sex.

Perhaps conceiving a child during the winter months (in the Northern areas of the world), means that during the latter part of pregnancy there would have been more food for the gestating mother (summer & fall harvest falling towards her 6-8 month time)? Makes sense, since pregnant females need more calories.

It backfires though since the birth will take place in late fall/early winter & thinking of our ancient ancestors there is just less food available from hunting/gathering,at that time, for a nursing mother. Not to mention the threat of cold weather to the newborn.

Still, it must work since ancient humans survived ice ages...

When the women start wearing their summer clothes after hiding themselves away for the winter, it certainly puts a spring in to a guys step in my opinion.

It is recorded pregnancies during the winter months.
Most people on the planet have summer birthdays. June & July
And according to OGB- YN's .. Heat & dehydration induces labor for women.

Hmmm.. is that why women in labor are not allowed any water the whole time?
