They say prostitution is the oldest profession in the world. To this day prostitution is considered a vulgar profession. Although some radical feminists do consider it to be empowering to women (many disagree). Perhaps this is not the point. Could it be that the reason for these perceptions are not really about the job itself, but just the simple fact that a prostitute earns MONEY at all (at one time it was the only paid job for a woman)? It seems possible that since todays working women, although not selling sex, are expected to work for cash (pimped out), and so there is something vulgar in this expectation itself (explained). Thoughts?

BS.
The oldest profession in the world has got to do with food. The hunter/gatherer maybe.
Nobody can survive, raise children and spread the race over the globe by just f***ing around right from the start.

this makes all other points and questions irrelevant.

done.

I don't care what you say.. prostitution.. hookers.. are some of the most dedicated hard working women you will find..lol.. think about it they're up.. to service the businessmen in the morning on there way to work.. so that means they're up and out the door before most people are..lol... and look what they do to make a buck..... most of you probably wouldn't want to... do what they do to make a dollar...... rain or shine...... that's dedication...lol

Well then plenty of well educated middle class to upper class women get into prostitution to be fair. Do I need to point this out? Who cares really?

The vast majority of people who enter into prostitution are poor and same for the military. They do it because it's better than working at McDonalds for minimum wage.

This is absolutely NOT true about the military. The vast majority of those who enlist are middle class and well educated. Learn the truth and quit making up "facts" to support a narrative.

In the USA, a military career is an honorable profession, which is why non-poor people join the military.

The poor are underrepresented in the United States military. The wealthy are proportionally represented. And it's also not true that those who enlist have few other options. The reality is, often service members will put other options on hold to serve. The United States military has a higher percentage of personnel with college degrees than any other segment of the population. Many of those have degrees before they enlist. To those who want to continue disparaging the military and comparing them to prostitutes, learn the truth.

there was nothing untrue in what I posted actually, I have qualified my statements with 'some' and ''one', instead of generalizing everyone

I am speaking about enlistees (not talking about the colective that includes those who have made their career there and those who are being approached to enlist)

It was the OP who drew the false parallel between prostitution and the military with no facts to back it up. And others have made untrue statements about the military, which I don't take lightly. I've watched good men who gave up everything to serve die as a result of that choice, and I'll be damned if I just sit back and watch them be posthumously insulted.

Not REGULAR sex.
this is about
WHORES.
Female Dogs!
Sex for money!
Sex for Food. Gold. Watches. Stone tools

... but then again, maybe all women have always been like that?!!!

Hold on a minute...!
O.o

Holy spirit!

it is 'regular' sex as long as it is capable of producing life

some have 'regular' sex for the promise of a commitment that may or may not happen

and others have it for the promise of cash that can pay their bills

I don't see them as different if they are outside of a commitment,, they are both casual and both equal

I come from a long line of military. My dad died when I was 7 while active duty in a plane crash. He earned a degree while in the service. My uncle went straight from high school and no degree. There are many that go in to get a good education. What is so wrong with that? I am a HUGE supporter of the military.

But come on....the parallel between prostitution and the military is too crazy for me to get upset about. It is so silly I had a chuckle.

I know many that go into the military straight from high school. Degree before, after, never...so what? They serve the country and I support them for that

Well welcome back & try to focus on the ' target ' or make a new thread, about the brave & tragic loss of MEN. Instead of using this prostitution thread.
Or just breath & let it go.

...

with or withour promises of comittment or money
with or without keeping any promises
casual or not casual

you just included prostitution(if it can lead to kids) in regular sex. [prmise of money]
so regular sex or prostitution(if it can lead to kids) are now in one group. Same thing.

so if i asked you if you
- were a Virgin and ever had unprotected sex,
then you have had regular sex,
- so that sex that you had was in the same group as prostitution.

Well...
there sure are a LOT of Beaches out there...?!!!
Potentially you included?!!

I think you will agree that we both do not like where this is going...
nopenopenope.

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

I maintain my position:
when you Pay, as in agreeing on a price and no comittment and no kids, your ride is a prostitute.

Else, all women i have ever had(unprotected) are Beaches.
and i shall not allow your train of thought to define them as such.

thanks.
