Hillary on the Brink of Collapse

A  passage from Ernest  Hemingway fits the moment. In “The Sun Also  Rises,” one character asks,  “How did you go bankrupt?” and another responds: “Two ways. Gradually, then suddenly.”

The exchange captures Hillary Clinton’s red alert. She’s been going politically bankrupt for a long time, and now faces the prospect of sudden collapse.

If she’s got a winning defense, she better be quick about it. The ghosts of scandals past are gaining on her and time is not on her side.

The compelling claims that she and Bill Clinton sold favors while she was secretary of state for tens of millions of dollars for themselves and their foundation don’t need to meet the legal standard for bribery. She’s on political trial in a country where Clinton Fatigue alone could be a fatal verdict.

After 25 years of corner-cutting and dishonest behavior, accumulation is her enemy. Each day threatens to deliver the straw that breaks the camel’s back. It may already have happened and we’re just waiting for public opinion to catch up to the facts.

I don't think she is going to get the nomination now.

Secretary Clinton is still more credible than any of the Republican candidates.

The brilliant part about this is that Republicans will cry about vague "reporting mistakes" for years while the Clinton Foundation gets tons of free advertising, and they can use their new income to support the tragedy of the day, such as the latest quake in Nepal, so Hillary can win over more liberals and moderates.

Maybe, Rosie O'Donnell will nominate Hillary to be her
personal Monica Lewinsky.

I agree the RINOs had better start listening to the people and putting forward someone they'll vote for or BOTH parties will finally do us all a favor and just die.

The dog and pony show of the 2 party system, one funded by bankers and unions, the other by corporations and the war machine, is quickly becoming a taste in the mouths of Americans that doesn't stomach well.

Networks supporting them are dying as people turn more to the internet to get their information, Commercial TV is in its death throws like the 8 track and cassette player as programing becomes more about the commercials for banks, credit, ambulance chasers, and products people can no longer afford to buy than anything of entertainment value. Even the news is scripted as information is controlled by the networks to fit the agenda of one side or the other. Neither side can get people to the polls, much less excited about their candidates (political puppets selling favors, all of them) any more. The corruption and scandals plague both parties!

Their actions against Americans, the domestic spying, the bailouts, the lies of recovery as more and more Americans are placed on food stamps and struggling to simply survive while corporations and banks flourish and our cities, small business, and American manufacturing dies..... just isn't flying any more.

They have stretched the truth so badly, for so long, they can't even come up with lies to hide the truth no matter how their networks try to spin it. The adage that "if you repeat a lie enough it becomes truth" isn't even working any longer. People just aren't as dumb as they have led themselves to believe. Sadly, it may be too little, too late to save ourselves.

The enemies they have made for us, to scare us into giving up our rights and freedoms, are all now out of control and truly turning against them.... and us.... creating a REAL threat they have no idea how to handle!

They've weakened our defenses, destroyed our cities, jobs, and families, outsourced our manufacturing, bankrupted us, lost control of our borders, and destroyed our healthcare....all under the Bush and Clinton dynasties of the 2 party system. Oblowme was setup to fail from the beginning, and now Hitlary wants to be our "Champion"?

This thread reminds me of the crap that the left talked about, trying to fluff each other up, back when the Republicans were on the verge of taking over the entire Congress. They patted each other on the back over how successful THEIR propaganda was, too.

Unfortunately for them then, and the right now, it IS just their own people who believe this crap is working.

That "list of scandals" is only from email spam and Breitbart.com. everything else has already been investigated and vetted completely. Teabaggers like to cry about Benghazi, but that's already had several congressional investigations. They found nothing. Now is just political smear. All those "murders" from the 80s and 90s and Whitewater were all investigated by two special prosecutors, even. Again, nothing. Tell me more about your list of scandals.

Secretary Clinton is the most-vetted candidate running. She's been elected twice to the Senate, appointed Secretary of State, and everything she does, she does capably. I know you'll disagree on policy, and I don't even like all her positions--she could be more liberal on privacy and economics, but I'm not a one-position voter. Which Republican candidate has done better?

haha, shes a crook and everyone knows it. how come she has so many "allegations" against her then? how come most other politicians dont have an "allegation" list a mile long. if she has done nothing why has she been investigated so many times. its already known most politicans are above the law, except the ones that dont go along with the plan.

The lies about coming under sniper fire in Bosnia, White Water, Banging Kenneth Foster, the death of Kenneth Foster all of that was investigated by Clintons very own people.

We don't need another one term Senator in the White House. We need someone with Executive and Military Experience.

So exaggerating the danger in Bosnia is a scandal? Who cares? It's not even a policy statement. Really more of a "no ****, there I was" story.

Whitewater and Kenneth Foster were both investigated by the two Special Prosecutors appointed by the Republican Congress back in the 90s. Ken Star's fishing expedition found the President's affair, which had nothing to do with the Whitewater case, and nothing to do with Hillary.

Anyway, those three "scandals" don't make much of a list, and you've got almost nothing to show for it. A pile of delusional ramblings dredged up from your spam emails. Good luck with that.
