Why do men/women seek "God fearing" partners? Because "god hating" and "god farting" and "i aint afraid of no god" partners tend to spend all the money on leather jackets, ripple, and powerball tickets so the kids can't participate in picture day. When did it suddenly become the 16th century? 9/11? The introduction of the iSundial with faulty suntic engine? Why not then add to it "...and preferably not a witch" Maybe that's a test to get witches to respond so they can report them to god? Because there could be witches on here and they'd be all like "they didn't say 'no witches' on their profile! Ha ha! Loophole! Now they HAVE to date me and let me do witchy stuff to them!" So then the witches can't see the trap they're getting themselves into. Next thing you know they're showing up for a first meet with their whorechata flavored rockstar energy drink and penny loafers but gods waiting for them in the parking lot. That's why! |

Why not then add to it "...and preferably not a witch" Finally, someone has mentioned this,"God fearing[sic]"- thingie! As a Pagan, it's confusing & unsettling to have a self-described "God fearing man-seeking a God fearing Woman" express his interest in me. It's beyond my understanding as to what the actual definition & spiritual connotation of "God fearing" would actually include? Whatever it is...it just seems-"Creepy" ps; Just checked-out the definition provided by the Op in the above post. I have no problem with that definition & know many spiritually devout Christians who would never describe their faith in terms of "God Fearing" their deity. |

Why not then add to it "...and preferably not a witch" There is nothing wrong with looking for someone compatible will similar beliefs. If that is the belief held tightly. Looking for similarities and not necessarily a mirror image is a good thing. Why would it be 16 the century to believe in the lord? Do you think he was missing from other centuries? |

I see my faith as important in a relationship and it is nice if we are compatible that way but I see that in a profile and CLICK next profile because invariably it is someone who will drive you crazy with their own made up version of faith where they are the center of the universe and faith is only their prop.

For those who want to dwell in medieval vocabulary go ahead, knock yourselves out. It's a free world until president Putin or some god fearing dictator decides it's not...

I don't believe in religion but I do have a very strong feeling about right and wrong, it's almost like I am God. Strange. Just kidding. But I do have that feeling.. Wow... Talk about narcissus here. I think most people believe in themselves as God to ease the burden of their failing ego.
Has anybody ever wondered why things happen when they happen? Atheists believe they dont believe but the fact stands that they are all addicted to the God notion. It's all hypocrisy. |

All due respect but I don't think people need anyone's permission. If ot bothers you so much, then isn't that your problem? It is still used because it still has the same meaning. If someone wants to speak in Ye Olde English....good for them
