Rapper Afroman punches female fan on stage

A video posted online showed a woman dancing next to Afroman as he was playing guitar and him punching her, knocking her off her feet. The 40-year-old rapper, whose real name is Joseph Foreman, apologized on his Facebook page and later told TMZ that two women had been dancing on stage and a man had been heckling him throughout the show. He said he thought they had left the stage, and when someone bumped him, he thought it was the man.

"I thought it was that guy," he said. He said the early show during Mardi Gras gave him anxiety and he didn't have time to eat dinner and "medicate, get right." "I had my frustrations to make a long story short," he told TMZ.

Chase Taylor, who owns Kress Live where the rapper was performing, said the concert was stopped. "Afroman was about five songs into his set when the incident occurred. We pulled the plug on him, and security met him at the bottom of the stage to escort him outside, where he was taken into custody," Taylor said.

Sorry it was 2 months ago, seemed a lot longer. He Says, he thought it was some guy that was heckling him before during the show, the vid is pretty disturbing, he should be locked up for a while.

after watching the video, he looks at the girl like 10 seconds before he slugs her... i find it hard to believe that he actually thought it was a guy heckling him, notice how he just turns back around and starts to play the guitar like it didnt even phase him. what a loser. all the girl did was start dancing next to him, theres no way his side of the story makes any sense. video evidence doesnt lie. what a scumbag.

i just watched another video where he appears to invite a male fan onto the stage, then about 30 seconds later judo hip tosses the dude off the stage. this guy has some serious anger issues.
