Agreed, most "MEN" are just aging boys that think they can continue to get away with the things they did when they were 13. If being a man means acting like a child I think I'll pass, stop the ride, I want off.

I don't think immaturity is limited to men. I have seen all the way up top 80 year old women fawn all over someone just for giving them a little attention. Even when it means dangerous and painful surgeries that have no hope of doing anything but getting them out of the house for a while.

Great. Thanks for letting us know.

Although I do wonder if you'll start complaining when you discover the people you want to date won't date you because they disagree with you.

I agree. I have found people of all ages to have varying levels of maturity. I believe a lot of it has to do with self image. How does the person feel about themselves and how the go about expressing it to the world. I to my chagrin and happiness will always be a little bit of a toys are us kid. happy

let's see

mature: having completed natural growth and development

so, based upon the developmental stages we go through from childhood to birth
some reach those milestones earlier in life and some later

,maturity is not GUARANTEED by age,, but it is the best gauge we have ,, generally speaking

The term "maturity" is often used inappropriately.

A llot of men and women go through a midlife crisis, for instance. It could be hormones making someone throw temper tantrums like a child and at the same time they can be full of worldly wisdom due to their life experience.

It isn't a crime either to want to do things again that you did when you were younger, or didn't get the chance to do then. A middle aged man buys a motorcycle and finds that he's able to get hot young women and he's not acting his age. A middle aged woman decides that it's now her time because the kids have flown the nest and she decides to go on a world cruise or buy a sports car and it's fine because society says that she's earned it.

To the devil with your life stages expectations, society. Conformoty isn't the same thing as maturity and quite often it's the opposite and not just deciding that you're your own person and going along with the herd is what many children do and never grow out of.

To a point. I still would prefer to date an older man, rather than younger than me. As I don't like the thought of younger men, expecting me to want to do, everything they see in modernized porn movies. I don't like the expectations that come from them. Whereas it's less likely, that an older man will expect it from me. I have certain boundaries. There's certain sexual things I'll never do. No matter how good it may look. The thought scares me a little.

I totally agree, though I sincerely believe that younger Ladies should date younger gentlemen. Which is the topic of your post. Most of the May December relationships that I have observed, the older gentleman has to bring a lot more than his charm and love to obtain the affection of the younger lady. Take Hugh Hefner for example. You think that all of the women that he used would have been attracted to him just because of his looks, even though he was old enough to be their grandfather? If it wasn't for his money he would just be another perverted old man. Yes there are exceptions, but a lot of women's profiles on this site definitely states that they are not looking for an older man.

There are many outstanding young adults out there that have their sheet together. They have.completed degrees or training and are paying their bills and holding down jobs and have pretty good outlooks on life but that doesn't mean I want to date themhappy
