WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A REAL MAN AND A REAL WOMAN?

I feel that a man should possess these fine qualities: kind, generous, protector, strong, respectful, caring, provider, confident, calm and grounded, faithful, considerate, patient, attentive, understanding and a pleaser.

I feel that a woman should possess these fine qualities: nurturing (family nurse), attentive, patient, intuitive, caring, resourceful, sociable, personable, cool under pressure, versatile, super intelligent to run the family finances. If you read about millionaires or successful people, the matriarch is in charge of the family finances.

Which qualities do you seek in your mate? What defines to you a real man and a real woman?

I seek the normal things that most men want in a woman....kind, sweet, funny, sexy, dorky.....the normal stuff.

To me, I want to be completely knocked out of my socks when I meet her. I want to miss her when she isn't there. I want to not have to talk to her for the whole day, just to get a text from her saying something like, "Bring your sweet butt home and give momma some luvin".

A real man for me is one that can say sorry, but mean it.

I remember years ago about a guy I used to work with.
We had this blazing row that almost came to fisty cuffs.

A few hours later he came walking towards me, but he just opened his arms and we kinda gave each other a hug and both said sorry.

I haven't seen him for years, Ryan his name was, but I still remember that.

I think that's a little off topic from what you meant but it beats all this macho bullchit any day.

Here's an example of a REAL woman.
She's on the ground, broken and bleeding.
When help finally arrives, her concern is to contact her man,
and tell him she's sorry for letting him down.

And that brings tears to this man's eyes.

((((((Pancho))))))) Hang in there, baby. You made me tear up. We all have her in our thoughts and prayers. All the Mingle family care about you and love both of you. She will be awesome and you will get through this, angel.

"REAL" means "exists."

Past that, there's just what I like and want, and what each other person likes and wants.

AND...a REAL MAN is the one who is constantly in contact with her (since he can't physically be by her side) to make sure she knows she is loved. He tells her not only that HE is there for her, but all her online friends are there for her too. flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou

I am a real woman. I have my flaws, i have my weaknesses, i have my abilities, i have my strengths. I am perfect in my imperfections, but always with room for improvement.

A real man knows what it is to be a man, how to be a man, knows his woman, and how to be with her. He can be the best he could be, and still become better for his woman.

What I'm getting at, is that it is another judgmental act, to declare that someone who doesn't please or titillate you isn't "real." I disapprove of that concept, and find it to be a destructive way to approach relationships.

I used to think a man was human born with a functional penis and testicles

and a woman was a human born with a functional vagina and uterus

,,but the culture is changing that too,,,,

I asked for a personal definition. You are the one doing the judging and frowning and pointing fingers.

No, I haven't done any such thing. I've pointed out the fact that declaring someone to be real or not, is an act of pronouncing judgment.

If you want to ask what I'm looking for in a mate without insisting on a sweeping judgement of everyone, then please do that.

You keep asking for a personal definition of a judgment. I think you are making a mistake by doing that. But if you are set on making that kind of judgment, then all I can answer truthfully, is that I never have bothered to declare what a REAL man or woman is, past what someone else said above: someone with biological features matching those labels, who exists.

Thus Cinderella is NOT a real woman, and Han Solo is NOT a real man. Freddie Mercury WAS a real man, a real homosexual man. I am a real man, a real heterosexual man.

I love this !!!

Anybody who can say sorry and really be sorry is a class act.
