Were you breastfed or bottle fed? What about your children and grandchildren?

I was breastfed as a baby. I will do the same for my children.

I had a birth injury I was bottlefed..

My eldest was breast.. til I couldn't produce enough
Eldest daughter would have starved to death before she would take a breast
Youngest daughter breast baby all the way...
Youngest son... He was to ill at birth so pumped and fed breast milk...

Grandchildren to my knowledge all are breastfed babies.

All 13 of my mothers siblings were breast fed babies & supplemented with goats milk!

My mother tried to breast feed all 6 of us; but her breast milk was weak & she didn't supply enough so we too were on supplemental goats milk. They had no idea about proper diet and maintaining the milk flow back in those days! Diet and certain foods will taint the breast milk and speed up the drying of the milk sacs.

I breast fed my son and could've fed 3 other little ones; so I was able to pump and put my product to use at the local hospitals for preemie babies {circa 1976}...

I don't know if they still have the L Leche Breast Milk Clubs for special need babies or not? Some of us froze our breast milk and sent it off via 'dry-ice' to other Children's Hospitals for their preemie babies!

my parents said I was a pain because it took me 4 hours to drink a bottle and the next one was due ha ha

and my twin would knock his back and then chuck it all up back up ha ha. greedy little shite

opie stated

--------------------------------------------

I have mixed feelings on this for myself, because I see breasts as a sexual thing, I hope I feel differently when I have my own children because breast is best.

when I see others moms breast feed I don't see this as sexual at all, I think its beautiful and nurturing, so Ive puzzled myself on this one.

doesn't take much

I really don't know to be honest, it's not something I've ever asked my dear old mum.

Meaning? Does it matter about bottle or breast feed? My kid is a healthy 24 yr old and my best friend. What is the point?
