Topic: So what do think about Donal Trump running for President?

Right now Trump has numbers because he's poking the Establishment bear with a sharp stick, and people are enjoying it. Eventually when they realize he doesn't have the skills for the job, there will be a more serious candidate search.

What Trump DOES do however, is he forces the conversation that needs to be had on issues like immigration, Planned Parenthood, the care of veterans, the economy, and how people just like him 'game' the system to their advantage.

People have been of the opinion for decades now that Washington is inhabited and run by corrupt party hacks who vote by block as directed, and don't vote their conscience or for what is best for the country.

People are tired of wasteful, partisan government which attaches riders to bills costing millions more than estimated, and do nothing to get the middle class employed and stoking the American economic engine.

People want meaningful change, and if that means electing a guy who says during a State of the Union address "Congress, you're fired!" well then so be it. The unlikely choice isn't always the impossible choice.

Who would have thought an actor (Reagan) or a newspaper publisher(Harding) could have been president? The vast majority of U.S. presidents have been either soldier, lawyers, or farmers. There has never been a true industrialist/developer/builder as president.

Hmmmmmm.

Wilson, college president. Bush # 1 Oil Tycoon, Bush #2 failed business man. Most of our presidents have been professional politicians, which is to say "sales and marketing" people.

Failed businessman? rofl After he flipped the Rangers for a huge profit, yea he is such a failure in business. rofl

so, my understanding is flip is to buy something and sell it at a profit

when did he buy them and what was the profit?

Who the hell cares.. when & for how much ? It is called Capitalism (& it was legal), it is NOT Socialism/ Marxism.

well I care because of something called truth in advertising

if one of his strengths is allegedly his business sense, and a supporter puts forth an example,,,,,,I care to know the example is actually true,,,,

which by the lack of information, is not looking likely,,,lol

Actually if boarders were protected as they should be he probably would have not ran

There are to many ways for terrorists to enter the country

Fact is all nations have rules for entering that nation

Myself i feel that the usa needs but one rule to enter the usa

That rule would be ,,,, you may come to usa but the rule of entry rules of your country will dictate what you must do to gain entry

Seen where he stands on things.
Heard him in interviews.
don't agree with much of what he says at all.
Way too much textbook narcissism.
Way too preachy about....way too much a guy like him should probably not be involved in.

He doesn't get my vote.

And he'll probably put our entire infrastructure in bankruptcy, based on the number of times he's filed for bankruptcy himself.

Sooooooooo......yeah, no.

He invested $600,000 and made close to $20 Million when it sold.

The group of investors paid 84 Million for it and sold it for over $250 million with President bush at the helm.

Not a bad businessman.

Trump is selling Trump! He has no tangible presidential platform; just so called skills. He wears his personality as a mask; hiding behind it while harnessing public anger. He will sell you on the fantasy, though; that's what he's good at.

The election process is not a comedy act, it is a serious occurrence to choose the leader of our country. This next President will face very serious issues, militarily and politically, foreign and domestic. This is one time, if needed, I will vote against party lines for the most qualified candidate.

personally I don't see it ... especially since he had got Palin involved ... that is like the blind leading the blind ... neither one are very good at foreign affairs ... sure he is out spoken ... but they play by rules and laws most of the time in politics ... and try to have a small bit of compromise... but not sure about how he is with compromising ... he and Palin have always thought about their selves more and not at all for the good of the country ... I wonder as we do get closer what they will be talking about policies or attacking one another ... as most repubs are doing now ...

If only he had the experience and skills of Obama when he was elected. We've seen how that"Hope and Change" has worked out.
If only Trump could dance with Ellen Degenerate that would help him out a lot.

I'm sure Trump will do a tap dance and a few magic tricks at the debate. He will surely bring his own smoke and mirrors to the event. Can't wait to see the ringmaster perform; not surprising, he is the center of the lineup.

True to form, Trump's international agenda is simply to get along with everybody.....bwahahaha. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, and to build a giant wall. He had nothing, absolutely nothing, to add to the debate, except drama.

Most candidates are way too passive for my taste, or way too aggressive.

Rubio presented himself best, well composed and thoughtful, educated responses. He nailed almost all debate questions and retorts. Rubio also had great energy and comes across as genuine.

Fiorina was eloquent and educated but a bit aggressive, militarily. She seems to have a chip on her shoulder, as seen in some of her responses and some of her facial expressions. Too much focus on women. She has an air about her.

Christie and Bush did well but seem to have an air about them; like they are above you.

Of the first debate, I enjoyed hearing what Jindal had to say. He just needs to ramp it up a bit. He has good energy as well. He is educated, thoughtful, and forthright.

Graham just plays to the crowd.

In the end, Trump played his role as an entertainer, while making vague policy answers. He often kept quiet when detailed agendas were being debated.
