Ohh joy...lol.. am I the only one !.that finds doing some household chores super tedious.. and repetitive... like vacuuming or doing the dishes.... of course doing household chores is part of life ..and thay need doing.. daily...
I'm really speaking of those ,secondary chores.. you know those things that need to be done! but you never seem to do them.... like cleaning out the garage are cleaning out the drain gutters.... painting the fence...
I have a list as long as my arm of these secondary chores.. bUT I can never really find the motivation to get them started... the night before ,I say to myself! tomorrow I'm going to organize my junk drawer.. are clean the leaves from the eaves troughs...
. But sure enough the next day comes. . And I find some better way to spend my time.. like catching up on . Missed episodes of orange is black.. or going to the local mall to see if there's any sales to be had... basically just goofing off... the funny thing is I'm not really a slacker if something needs doing I do it.... the day to day things.... but for some reason when it comes to these chores secondary chores.... that need doing but they just don't need doing right this minute..... I always find some excuse not to do them...hmmm.. I sometimes beat myself up about this..
Say to myself !what's the matter with you?!.. sitting here at the local coffee store enjoying a latte.. when you should be home restaining the deck..lol.... just wondering if I'm alone in this.. do you put off doing certain chores.... but then feel somewhat guilty for not doing them.. are you a procrastinator a slacker like me!?..lol

A ...I thought you had birds? Lol..
Ohh.. sweetie pie.. cleaning your floors is part of the everyday chores..
Not cleaning the dust bunnies under your couch is the type of secondary chores I am talking of...

.. you know matching up those mismatched socks.. that are piling up in the laundry room... reorganizing one's walk-in closet... dusting on top of the fridge.. and I know this is one you ladies miss a lot.. giving your height restraints.. I've been invited into a lot of women's homes.. and sure enough the top of the refrigerator is always dusty..lol..

Ok.. now you're just pushing your luck lol.. I have learnt good looks will only take you so far... to get out of cleaning the bathroom you might have to sweeten the pot just a little bit..wink wink...hmm.. although if you were to bend over slightly while you have your hands in the warm soapy sudsy dishwater.... I can imagine that would get you out of doing a lot of housework..mmhhmm.. except the dishes of course..lol

Primary chores, I do daily. I tell myself & my kids & myself that I love doing dishes & laundry. Brainwashing technique since I have to do these type chores often. laugh

I do a secondary chores a couple times a week. Couple days ago I raked driveway then used the blower to clean the rest. And blew off the porch and walkways.

Today I unclogged the upstairs sink. Yeah! And I replaced 3 window panes. The little push points were a b!tch and I said f@ck about 20 times and threw my hammer out the window because it was too big to use. Hope I didn't kill a squirrel. But the windows are in and the push points solid. Yeah!

New secondary chore: go find hammer in the yard.

This is true! I have to put a doorknob on my daughter's door and fix her ceiling fan, too.

That will probably require me to say f@ck at least 50 times.

Clearing cutter, drains, washing the outside of the house and that sort of stuff come with owning a house. This is the expectation. Jobs like that are manageable and are do able

With replacing windows fixing garage doors and stuff like that I would call hire a hubby or people that are trained to do that job.

My job today is to put a new clothesline rope on the washing line. It's not that easy as it looks but hey women can do anything right? I will give it a go. If not work call Rodney. Lol

Yay!! Put door knob on daughter's door and replaced my door knob.

Replaced broken fan on daughter's ceiling fan and tightened up the rest. Cleaned fan...yuck.

All with no cussing!!!

Next, replace all broken mini blinds. In the boys' room, check windows for drafts/seal.

Paint the bathroom ceiling & walls with primer(Kilz). Step one.

Actually, the secret reason why refrigerators are made so tall, is so that we can pretend they aren't dusty.I just wish my entire house was on stilts.
