Wondering .. you peeps also get a wee bit lonely when you're feeling a bit under the weather?
I normally do alright, but every time I'm a bit unwell .. I wished I had someone to cuddle up to, and I can feel really lonely. The silence can be deafening while normally it really doesn't bother me. Thank goodness I'm not ill that often. I used to think it's just cos you feel somewhat 'weaker' than normal ... but now I'm actually thinking it's more that you have your shields down when you're ill or very tired? |

I was the only female in a house of men so it was my job to give it mamas aren't allowed to get sick

Scotty can get quite neurotic, lol. And actually, cuddling when you're not feeling well can be quite romantic  I'm not talking about being really really ill, but having someone who's sweet, puts an arm around you, holds you, is there for you, and falling asleep in his arms, my head on his chest.. mmmmm |

Awww.. now now baby it'll all be better" soon.. let me make you some soup.. put your feet up and lay back on the couch.. here lift up, and let me fluff and put a pillow behind you for support . Would you like some apple juice maybe.... here's the remote control baby.... if there's nothing on tv you wish to watch.. I can put a movie on for you..ok.. now I will just be in the kitchen making your soup... I'm right here... and if you like later on I will draw you a hot bath.. get you in your pajamas.. and rock you to sleep in my arms while singing you a lullaby..ok..

and brings home every popular bug) with only each other for company. Pretty cool, I wait on him doing every little thing then 4-5 days later he has to return the favor. We each feel equally pampered. When sick one needs all the attention they can get. |

They were more like withdrawing in their mancave to recuperate on their own. Didn't want lots of pampering, or "fussing" as my last would call it  I guess the male doesn't want to get seen when 'weak'? Both also wanted to be in bed on their own, whereas I prefer to be in the living room, on the settee with a blanket, so I'm NOT on my own. Makes me feel even worse when I'm all alone in the bedroom feeling ill. |

I feel what your saying Crystal because I am the same way. Awhile ago I came down with a wicked strain of the flu, living by myself I had to go get the medicine and still keep up with all the things that needed to get done and being totally sick in the progress. I remember lying there thinking being alone is the worst thing in the world.I sure hope that when the good lord calls me home I get to say goodbye to someone. Awwwww heartfelt. |

Humm honestly when I'm sick I like to be left alone so I can sleep...
Same after having surgery just let me go home and leave me be so I don't feel as if I have to entertain anyone or feel as if I'm ignoring them.. I can rest best when I'm alone well just me and my dog that is..

Well Pancho is sick right now with a bad cold and cough. I do wish I was there to pamper and baby him.
Now if I am sick I just want to be left alone... I am not nice when I am sick, it is safer for everyone if I am left alone. Bring me a cup of tea once in a while would be nice but No I m not lonely when I am sick I just want to curl up and sleep it away. |
