Just wondering how many of us came to mingle looking for something and changed what it was we thought we were looking for... Has your searched morphed into something else?

No. What I'm looking for IS the same as it's always been since dating. Someone to be my best friend, partner, lover. However, I HAVE learned some things about me and other peeps. I view myself a bit differently, but my thoughts on what I want AND need are the same.

Golly, I would say so. I signed up only to help someone else who was not technically proficient enough to use the computer. Then I found the forums. Where I then found HIM. Five years ago. So, yeah, things morphed, in an evolutionary kind of way :-)

Yes! Now just looking for a few friends that I have found while here. I have a couple friends that met here and they are doing well. So, I figured I would do the same and have had NO such luck. They can't understand it and neither can I. Lol

Hey, great topic Sir. I owe a lot to Mingle. I've learned how to be humble, and I'm still improving lol. I've also realised that there are people who know more than I could ever learn in ten lifetimes. I've learned to keep my mouth shut, hard at times but hey ho. Your question, has anyone changed what they were looking for? My answer would be no. I'm still looking for that love, but now I don't try so hard.

No looking for companionship. Tired of guys that want your email. Because they are not on site that much. Like I am going to give my email out. Also after you tell yourself to them. They de activate their acct. oh well.

I did changed my goals. Now I hunt and report scammers. Some of them are stupid and others are unique. But still stupid.

Humm yea to a point signed up to find others to chat with found that many times over.. Then ended up hanging around even more now here to help out even more...Kind of like once you check in it's hard to check out... I have met many on here a few that might be more then friends, but in the end they were better off as friends.. I have learned so much more then I thought I could from one site...Found out I could learn from those that I have never met in person.. Never realized how much that those I have never met, could teach me so much about life.. It defiantly taught me compassion... I have seen those that would lash out at others. But once I really got to see them for who they are and what they have went through there was a whole new person under all that hurt.. Some have become my lifelong, on line friends.. We keep in touch on facebook and I get to see how happy they now are..

It actually did change sir hahaha I was initially looking for my Mr. NeverBeAlone. After almost 90 days, I still keep on misinterpreting posts. I am barely on the same page with everyone. I'm beginning to wonder, if i can really keep up hahaha I decided to just interact in the forum. Educational. Healthier. Safer in getting to know people by reading their posts.
