Time to teach these scum bags a proper lesson I think. Get the secret codes out. no worry,Brussels will retaliate and disarm even more Citizens,that will teach those Scum!  Not everybody thinks arming civilians is the way to go. Might be hip in the States, I don't agree with that policy at all! Wanting a gun is based on living in fear. And that's what terrorists want: fear. So if you go with that, things will only get worse. People will start killing others when they think they see a Muslim or think someone is a terrorist. You really think that's going to help mankind?? It will only increase hate, fear and create more extremists, and before you know it, we will blow up the entire world. Way to go! Great thinking!! Ppl sell arms because they're poor, because it's a way to make a lot of money. Stopping that kind of chit could be achieved if that poverty was dealt with. If people could lead a good life, as in really good, they couldn't be bothered with arms dealing anymore. And that's where the problem lies: The ones with power are the ones with money and the ones who make money from all this chit. And oftentimes that's American and European influential people. They feed of this, so they want to keep this kind of chit alive and kicking. If you want this to end, you got to get the head of the snake, not start handing out arms to civilians. Unless you'd want us all to end up in a Mad Max kind of world of course. But that's not the kind of world I fancy to live in. |

This was also an American concert that is being attacked. So what do you suggest he do? Dump more bombs on the Middle East so they blow up some more stuff in France or the rest of Europe? Send more US troops to the Middle East and start WW3? March into Europe with US troops and shoot everyone that looks like a Muslim? And if he'd start a war and American troops get killed, he's a bad president because he made a stupid decision? I'm quite glad he's using his brain and not making rash decisions. really sad, most were just kids... i hope the liberals learn something here, but i'm really doubting it... Really sad yes...most were just kids and so are most of the "terrorists". According to many witnesses they spoke perfect french and they were in their twenties.... I wonder how those kids most probably born and raised here all of a sudden turn to believe that ISIS is the way to go... I also wonder how much information on what is really going on is known by the public. Mr Holland obviously knew it had to do with Syria before it was confirmed. Sure ISIS has proclaimed war on anything that seems disgusting to them since a long time already...and they manage to get the attention through the internet by calling out kids to just go out and blow themselves, some get 2-3 months training....once they've done it as the media worldwide is reacting to it, it is fueling those kids even more to die as "massacre heroes". That's what is sad and thickening. Another sad thing is that either way it is serving extremists...and the increasing fear leads people to give up their freedom. On the other hand how much freedom is to give to religious cult when the fundamental thought end up in killings ? I don't have the answers...only wondering... Being a European I agree with Crystal : Hand out arms to the Europeans that have little to no history being armed and we might end up in a Mad Max kind of world. |

You know those 20 year old kids are really fit and trained and brainwashed... I am not sure if a firearm would help me....I actually trust our Belgium military. They are highly trained...the only thing is that administration and regulations are slowing things down tremendously. Over here in Belgium many people know where to find firearms it isn't really a secret. Certain families are known for their traffic since generations...and they are always in and out of jail... Police also knows...BUT you need proof & finances ...and it is hard to catch the big fish....because of all those regulations...and it takes forever to adapt them. |

 Although it is nice, or polite or civil to hear outside views. Americans are American's with our own mindset. My country was founded by people seeking independence from Europe. So although we are a relatively young nation, with faults & issues (like everyone else) by the world's standards we have done very well for ourselves. We never have or will have a desire to be like Europe or any other continent. Maybe, misery loves company? Because gun banning, Socialist/Marxist policies & removing God & patriotism/nationalism, has not work out well for you guys & is destroying what is left of the cultures. So no matter how young or primitive or barbaric you think we are... We thank you, for teaching us, how not to be. Geez..look at the thread we are on & France trying to create an multi cultural utopian society. Yep, it is all rainbows & unicorns over there. And we want to be you when we grow up. Meanwhile we'll be by the phone waiting for the shame & blame game & rescue calls.

TERROR IN PARIS New York City Terror Threat: After Paris Hostage Crisis, NYPD Increases Security By Sarah Berger @sarahberger0408 s.berger@ibtimes.com on November 13,2015 In the wake of violent terrorist attacks that claimed the lives roughly at least 149 people in Paris Friday night, the New York Police Department boosted security at high-profile locations. Officials emphasized that there was no credible threat against the United States, and that the bumped up security was being employed out of caution. The NYPD released the following statement in response to the attacks in Paris: The NYPD is in close touch with our French police counterparts as well as our FBI partners here, following the tragic events in Paris. Out of an abundance of caution, as part of an enhanced counterterrorism overlay the Counterterrorism Bureau has made the following deployments: the NYPD Counterterrorism Response Command (CRC) resources as well as the Critical Response Group (SRG), and Hercules Teams have been dispatched to crowded areas around the city out of an abundance of caution to provide police presence, and public reassurance as we follow the developing situation overseas. Specific deployments, at French government locations in New York City, were made immediately after the attacks. NYPD Intelligence Bureau Detectives in France are conducting liaison activities to assist the Paris Police in any way possible, while keeping the NYPD updated on the on-going situation. There is no known indication that the attack has any nexus to New York City. We will continue to follow events closely and adjust our deployments accordingly. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio released a statement after the violence in France Friday night, WLNY-TV reported. “The people of New York City are heartbroken to see our sister city of Paris shaken again by these thoughtless acts of violence, and we stand in solidarity with the residents of Paris and with Mayor Hidalgo during this tragic time,” the mayor said, WLNY-TV reported. “The victims of these horrific attacks, their families, and all the residents of Paris are in our hearts tonight. NYPD is in close contact with our international liaison in Paris and the local authorities and are closely monitoring the situation.” A specially-trained unit of up to 350 officers in heavy gear had been assigned to both counterterrorism patrols and protests at high-risk areas of New York City, like Times Square, WABC reported. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo also directed State police, the New York State Intelligence Center and the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services to actively watch for any implication from the attack. it crosses my mind that (much like serial killers) a prime goal of those who commit these mass killings is to be accredited for it and to receive notoriety much the same way the media shuts down certain personalities and all their work when they are even accused let alone claim guilt in a crime,,,why dont these providers likewise monitor the messages their sites are being used for and shut them down before they are able to receive that credit or notoriety? how fast might they die out if people just stopped hearing anything about them? how might THAT 'knock the wind out of their cells'? and greatly decrease their ability to make instant allies all over the world,,,? |
