Ladies and gents ... What are some of the elements in profiles from the photograph to the written content that you consider a complete turn-off or at least a pet peeve?

I hate when they have unknown on their marital status, I mean you are or you are not its really that simple.

Indicate they are a widow, use broken English, the username has a first and last name, indicate they are military, and no photo or too perfect looking photo. I block those without even responding.

So true jacktrades! How hard is it to say if you are married or have kids ? And then they may answer yes to drinkibg but no answer to smoking lol! What the heck does that mean? Is the smoking part too traumatic to talk about? Lol

I also block people that add me as favorites. Usually scammers.

I am sure everyone loves the "one word" reply, duuu! haha Or the person that looks at your profile but does not read it (I have young kids). Soooo, No I will not meet you at odd hours. duuu!

I find it disheartening how often I see the phrase "don't waste my time", followed by lists of IF superficial qualifiers.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU tulip2633.But even more than those, I hate when no profile is created at all.I know people have personal and legitimate reasons for that choice but it conveys such a lack of effort on their part and a lack of transparency . I seldom respond to vague profiles. I also seldom respond to guys with theur shirt off in their pic . There is nothing wrong with them doing that ofcourse. Its just not what i am here for

turn offs no response ask me later negative ninnies(profiles that are mostly complaints and turn offs) pompous prats(profiles are about whats wrong with others) materialistic(profiles about what they own, what papers or certificates or degrees they have, etc,,,) and of course the shirtless picture(unless its appropriate to the surroundings like the beach or a pool)
