Here is a pet peeve of mine:

I dislike it when a women belittles herself because she thinks that she is too short.

My late wife was 5' 2", and there was nothing wrong with her height.

Sorry to hear about the passing of your wife David.I'm sure she was amazing. On a related note, no matter how amazing someone is, almost everyone wishes they could change something about themselves when they look in the mirror. For me, it's my height. Some people address their issue by using make up...some with plastic surgery. My solution is a pair of 5 inch heels and the whimsy to laugh at myself :)

People who state they wear socks that match

What's all that about ohwell

Haha! It isn't as random as you might think. Some people read a deeper meaning into peoples mundane activities. For example, some people might perceive unmatching socks as a symbol of a disorganised or sloppy personality. I know it sounds crazy but some people are kinda extreme in their assessments

That's what I do, why wear 'un-matched' socks when you can just as easily fold them into proper pairs when you fold your laundry.

Socks tell us more than what people realise ohwell

Don't get me started on holly socks, I mean socks with holes, not blessed socks.

no profile pic no description of self. why even join a dating site if you don't want people to see you or learn about you?

I think they are using the site to exchange information; and I wonder sometimes if it would be dangerous information.

peggy122, I looked at your profile photos, and I see nothing wrong with you outwardly.
So, why would you want to change perfection?

Aawww...thanks for the compliment ErotiDoug. I visited your profile just to see what your height was. Someone as tall as you would hardly be able to relate to the "lows" of being short but I am sure you can relate to the fact that we all wanna change something about ourselves

I find it funny you block people that add you as favorites because that is how I "bookmark" people I MAY be interested in to go back to after sifting through all the scammers! LOL

why would you wear socks that DO NOT match? Throw them away if they do not have a mate.

All socks match/ left foot and right foot. A spare sock is a great mitt in winter or for shining that private jet.

i have visited yours before. and i have just visited too, to check it. do you see me on your visitors list?

No. I dont see you there. I wonder if the chat site only shows you the visits of the gender that you say you are looking for in your profile?

yes, i think it works that way, which makes sense.

My mom who grew up poor STRUGGLES with throwing away stuff. And she will will almost grasp for reasons why she should hold on to obscure items.Maybe the people with unmatching socks are like her. Or maybe their laundry is really disorganised :)

Yeah. The people who leave their number in their first message make me suspicious but i think its not so bad if they leave forms of contact that dont require a number eg kik, gchat, etc. I am understanding about that because the chatroom response time is sooooooo slow and u can lose contact with chatters because they think you abandoned them when in reality the messages were taking forever to go through.

yes i quite aggree but still it shouldn't be at the very first message. "this is my whatsapp number:xxxxx if you want to chat" this has no explanation for me. copy paste being sent to whoever are online. the nickname ones are totally out of sense!

after a few messages, if the person says "look, for the case we lose contact here, or if you want a faster chat this is my bla bla" or sthng like this would be very understandable. but not like the ones i wrote above.
