As a mum of a man I have realised my son needs to be his own man. I have taught him right from wrong, how to be independent and the expectations of how to treat a lady. I stay out of his relationship affairs unless he discuss with me. I also have taught him if she don't treat you like a king when you treat her like a queen then she is not the one for you. Move on. One thimg I have noticed is the girls he goes out with tend to end up passioning another guy. This makes me angry. He dumps them and don't give them a second chance. Why are girls like this? Is it an age they are at? 19 I will say anyone who is violent with any of my kids yes I will step in because I did not give birth them for someone to use them as a punching bag. It is the age factor and mostly gals that age likes to have fun. No one likes to get in serious stuff and long term happens only rarely. So if he finds a right gal then the king queen factor works else just respect and enjoy your time.. |

Well young Jedi... it's all about setting the right tone ,with your girlfriend..
Now I imagine she is included in your decision making..yes . By now she knows you are a loyal and caring family person .. So she knows you are a good Jedi and cares for his family.. So you have established that !.with her already I presume.... . So now you have to prove to your young .. Jedi princess... That you can be loyal.. and caring to her.... putting her needs above your own.. like a good Jedi.. does.. Now it seems to me your family celebrates a lot of things all the time.. Someone sneezes they have a party..yes..lol... so you missing out on one little celebration is not the end of the world.. I imagine your mother understands this..yes.. The question you have to ask yourself.. young Jedi..lol.. Is how understanding is your Jedi princess going to be if you blow her off to go to just another !!..family outing.. Hmm.. do you think she will pull her lightsaber out and cut your head off.. . In two weeks my Jedi princess has trust and believe in me. But this rare family party in base camp is very important so my force is guiding me to go there also as all my relatives from distant galaxies will be coming to meet me it is a unique event. I have build a castle and planned a family reunion for my princess but still my heart desires to be with her. I am afraid of the death star and want your light of guidance. it is force vs heart...enlighten me Oo great Obi-wan..lol |

Wow it get crowded in LA..just returned after completing the decoration, confirming her parents surprise visit, verified the room book for them, picked up her gift and all other gifts, mailed everyone to confirm the number of people attending her party, checked the menu and cake for the occasion, I guess I covered all.
Now back to thread for ideas.. |

Well it is 8 PM here so I have another 3-4 hours to see if I get some other ideas else I have to implement my own which involves lot of driving and less sleeping...feels like my graduation day going to many parties in one night and then attending the ceremony next day all out of senses..

I don`t know if you guys follow my other thread but I have been with this girl for just two weeks now so it would be too soon for me to introduce her to my family. This is a family event so my relatives from Spain, England, India and other parts of states will be coming, so I guess you guys understand the magnitude of the event. So if I have to make an excuse it should be perfect? Also it is Jenny`s birthday so I can`t miss that too. Hope you understand my pickle now  Well, if you've only been with her for 2 weeks, just tell her something with your family came up. If she is not understanding about it, well, it's better that you know what type of person she is now than later. Theoretically, she SHOULD be understanding about the situation. I agree with this.:)
