To be honest ... it sounds like you are chasing after them too much... That works like a repellent so stop it. Try to be the one who ends the conversations. Don't go on and on and on till he ends it. And if he doesn't reply, NO friggin way should you phone him! Don't spend so much time texting. Texting should be for SHORT exchange only, so a short flirty, or playful or funny thing. Longer conversations should be done by phone or meeting. So keep it short and sweet and say goodbye before he has the change to do so. That keeps them longing for more. Crystal offer good advice. If Im texting a girl I'm interested in, and real life calls me away. If when I come back 4 hours later, and see 12 missed texts and 3 missed phone calls...I'm definitely no longer interested.

I wonder if these expectations vary with age/generation. I know my little brother treats every text like it's an emergency and he 'has' to respond right away.
So maybe i'm just becoming an old-timer, but again if I don't text you back you right away, it doesn't mean I'm not into you. It just means I treat texts as a 'convenient' form of communication, normally because I'm don't have time/not in a place where I can call for a proper conversation. |

Hmmmm... these responses give me food for thought . My personal experience with the guys who frequently have long lapses in communication is that they usually re -merge on random other occasions and it's always to push a sexual agenda.
