Topic: Who on here has lost both your Parents?

One never really fully loses parents, they are simply residing in a different place, but the loss of their physical presence takes some getting used to.

What can help is to continue talking to them either out loud or silently.

Don't be surprised to hear back from them. Seriously.

Any words from them will usually be given not as audible sound but by way of 'thought answers.' It may take practice but it usually comes. During grieving is a great time to commence the process as psychic channels are increased during that time.

How does one know if it is real or imagination?

After really getting into the swing of it ask one of your parents a question which you truly do not know the answer to. For example, 'I've lost my car keys where are they?'

Never try to think whilst awaiting an answer. Nothing can be forced. Send any questions out on a wave of love and feeling good, and if an answer doesn't come immediately then move on. Often the answer may be delayed.

Hope that helps.

I lost my dad a year and a half ago. The cancer had progressed to far to be able to do anything. He just wanted to not be in to much pain till the end. It was hard to see him that way.
Mum has dementia, and it is like loosing her a little bit at a time. When I was young, they were the ones who were there, strong, and watching over me. It is terrible to see how time has taken that...

I lost my mom 10 years ago and it's kinda hard feelings for all of us. That's why we have to take care of them while we have the chance. Never take them for granted.

My mother died young at 58 (to me that is young) and I was 20 at the time. my father is in his 90's now and doing good. He never ever went on a single date after my Mom died, even though he was only 62 and was in really good health and active. She was the love of his life.

First off, my dad was taking care of his parents. Then he got sick. So, I took care of him and his parents. Then my dad died. So, I moved them into my place. Then my mom got sick. So, I was taking care of her too. Then my mom died. Then inevitably my grandparents died. It was 5 years of hell. I lost any remaining innocence I had. The rest of my family provided zero help and either protested the Cremations or tried to steal stuff from my grandfather due to his Alzheimers. Needless to say I have zero communication with any of my family and I aim to keep it that way.

My dad was my best friend and has not, nor ever will be, replaced. He was the only person I could totally trust. I will also appreciate and remember that.

The ordeal of being the primary care giver, and dealing with the doctors, healthcare system, nurses, medicare, and hospice forever changed me for the worse. I was subjected to many things I never wanted to be subjected to. I stay clear of the health care system now when it comes to myself. I dread the day I need surgery of some kind. I'm not sure if I will go through with it or not.

That is a lot to deal with BG. Incredibly frustrating and difficult for sure.
