No, why should I ?
55 this year and feeling happier as ever.

If he likes/loves me , he should accept me and my age.

What if a person looks very young? He/she wants and is capable of being with a younger individual. Their feelings, actions, and life style are accepted by younger people. What should this person do if placing their real age brings them only very old respondents. If per chance this person meets "the one", he/she tells the prospective mate quickly -- just after one date or two -- their proper age. Some people will reject this. Others will say, "It's fine. "Age is just a number". If one knows and acts responsibly, I think it's okay. I've also found out that most folks in the older generation do this very frequently. (Especially men). There is only one problem. That, being the older folk are receiving enormous results from "very young" respondents. Query: Are these very young ones wanting a mother/father figure? Are they searching for a rich person to take care of them financially? There are different reasons why people lie about their age. We should recognize that in some cases, it's necessary -- as long as that person tells the truth quickly -- giving the prospective mate the info before circumstances get heavily involved.

Would You Ever Lie About Your Age?

If it was in my best interest, with little to no consequences, to lie, then yes.

If you met a person of your dreams male/female on a site.......would you ever lie about your age... even a year or two?

No.
There wouldn't be any gain or point to it.

If we were on a date and they didn't eidetically recall my profile and they said something like "you're, what, like a mid 30's guy or something, how would you feel if blah blah blah?" I would not correct them to make sure they knew my exact and "right" age.

Although, I've never ever seen a profile where I've thought "that's the woman of my DREAMS!"

If I didn't have a profile (for if I already started a profile, I would have just put my normal age on it not caring), saw Drew Barrymore's roughly same age as me, 12 toed, prehensile tailed, lingerie loving, taco and pizza factory owning, desert compound with pool dwelling, liquor lactating, capable of granting me wishes, independently wealthy, gun nut, twin sister's profile with a very specific description asking for a guy that was exactly how I see myself physically, mentally, emotionally, etc., with a general age range that cut off a year younger than I am, with the website not allowing anyone to contact her outside of that age range, then I would probably start a profile noting I was a year younger and send her an email.
