I think a large percentage of the people who chat on line have no intention of showing up in real life.
The person on the screen is just a diversion when they are bored. They can't or don't want to change their li es and it is sometimes the only adult in their life that responds with more than "thank you for shopping here". |

Mybe he did show up but got cold feet at the last min... but you are right that does not excuse the behavior of not giving you a text message excusing himself..... and just for information you really don't want them coming to your door on the first date..big no no..

Had to finish fifth grade math homework. Mom wouldn't let him borrow car. Hasn't passed drivers license test yet and missed bus. Bicycle had flat tire. Didn't find enough loose change in couch for bus fare. |

That guy is a real classless chump... I'm sorry you had to go through that, as I know that would be super upsetting. Like others have said though - always meet a first date from online some place public! Be careful.

It is possible he got scared as well. Best leave it alone if he contacts you again. which I suspect he will.
