His names lugnut he's fun but I don't know if lady's really care it's not a very long conversation piece to have. The clouds need to be taken down but I just don't want to. I guess what I'm saying is putting a picture of your dog as boring as putting clouds up?

well.. I had a pic of my face up and the ladies asked me to put up a pic of a dog instead.. they thought I would have a better chance, I don't have a dog.. so.. well, you see the rest.

I doubt it would be more boring than clouds, lol. Since you mentioned that you have an interest in dogs, I think it would be okay to have a picture in your profile, just not the primary one. You might want to consider having one where you are playing catch with the dog, or some kind of activity rather than the ones where you are hugging it.

Your profile looks good. Have you considered writing a little more and using complete sentences. I don't know if that matters to your generation, I'm a lot older and stuff like that matters, as least to me.

Best wishes to you smile2

I've made quite a few profiles now and I haven't noticed a difference in how many people talk to me based on what I have written in my description. The thing I've noticed is they tend to talk to me if I have more pictures. But maybe this sight is different I'll put something down.

Well you could be right, there are those who don't read anything, or don't want to read a lot. Check out some of the other comments that both men and women make on the other profiles, it might give you some ideas. Definitely pictures work though, one's where you are doing something are nice too and add to conversation.

I had photos of myself with my dog and cat, that were not main images.
Administration of Mingle2 deleted them. With the explanation that those images were not acceptable. I don't know why.
Long story short, I haven't bothered trying to reload them as I didn't feel like having them deleted again.

Why not? Mention your dog in your profile too.. lugnut is a cute name.
I think the rule on photos is that you have to be in all your photos.
I myself have pics of my dog and cat... if they don't like pets, then I won't like them.

It depends on the picture.

Do you want to attract a dog lover? And risk scaring off anyone who is not.

Also depends on if your picture portrays you as a responsible pet owner.

May also depend on the breed of the dog. Some are popular; some are not.

And yes you need to be in the photo to post it.

Its a man trick. We want to come off as sensitive so we throw a pet in the mix.. or that " staring into space" pose.

Were not sensitive... just one of the maneuvers we use.

Oh come on. I like my dog. It doesn't mean that I am trying to look sensitive or fool someone. If a woman finds that part of my life boring then we can move on to other topics. I can't be all exciting all of the time. I say post it

Wow just wow, so a guy posts a pic of his dog and you second guess what his intentions are. Incredible.

For the women looking for a four legs partner, put a picture of your dog.
Personally, I do not even access the profile if the user has a picture of their dog which I personally cannot stand to be honest.
